brother you dont need to physically occupy anything. everyone could remain where they are, and it would still not be acceptableOriginally posted by khyaal View PostSo you think we the people of Pakhtunkhwa will be out to occupy lands and properties of others once we join Azad Afghanistan?
the state will reflect the population
so the non pakhtuns will be x% of the civil service, the army etc
and why would they ever accept the sovereignty of someone else? why would they give up such control and power?

I am not an oppressor. Loy Afghanistan is oppression of non Pashtuns. You have failed to convince me otherwiseOriginally posted by graveyardofempires View Postlike i said what you are saying is totally inaccurate.
you need to do a review and quit the biasness.
when you out there to speak about Afghanistan make sure you dont have this ethnic bias and especially not such an anti Afghan interest view.
you think Afghans will give up an inch of their land?
you are insulting yourself by showing such a level of ignorance.
what is non pashtun Afghans?and how will it only be Pashtuns join in?
Take a cup of coffee, better yet take the whole jaynak and WAKE UP!!!
btw you should also have an handsome mind that will be truelly handsome.
numbers dont lie.
45 million pakhtuns in a state with 10-15 million non Pakhtuns. and the 8 million of them Tajiks will love this concept lol

But you couldn't prove what harm will be done to them once we reunite? In the case of Pakistan it was evident when Punjab dominated even the overwhelming majority of Bengalis. But this is not true for every other country.Originally posted by Amir al Ghaznavi View Postbrother you dont need to physically occupy anything. everyone could remain where they are, and it would still not be acceptable

Khaayla I am so sorry that you are making so simple...the minorities will want constitutional guarantees close to separation...When Burhanuddin visited Pakistan few months ago, Kiyani accorded him red-carpet welcome...Both sides think their interests are best served if Pashtuns remain divided....

Too simplisyic too simplistic...you don't seem to me a scientist but a story-teller from Qisa Khwanai...non-Pashtuns of Afghanistan have lived under the supposedly Pashtun domination and complain too much about that...just talk with them...don't be so romantic...Originally posted by khyaal View PostBut you couldn't prove what harm will be done to them once we reunite? first you must look at historical precedent of how Pashtuns treated non PashtunsOriginally posted by khyaal View PostBut you couldn't prove what harm will be done to them once we reunite? then you must look at some of the inherent superiority complexes pashtuns have and then think how this will play out politically
logically it goes without saying that in our part of the world where concepts of equality and liberty and citizenship are not as engrained, that the minority will inherently suffer discrimination, if nothing, then at least on the basis of they CAN
name me one minority in our part of the world who is treated absolutely fairly? unless they happen to dominate politically (ie. alawites in syria)

Toramana! You have got incomplete informations. It wasn't just for Burhandin Rabani. FYI, In the senate Saifullahs (from Laki Marwat) brother welcomed afghan delegate so warmly and he delivered even his speech in Pashto and then he confessed that he alone is true afghan in the whole country. LOLOriginally posted by Toramana View PostKhaayla I am so sorry that you are making so simple...the minorities will want constitutional guarantees close to separation...When Burhanuddin visited Pakistan few months ago, Kiyani accorded him red-carpet welcome...Both sides think their interests are best served if Pashtuns remain divided....Last edited by khyaal; 04-14-2011, 08:15 PM.

you are clearly biased and anti the aspirations of Afghan nation.
according to you those people will not accept it.first of all its up to afghans to decide and those people will die for the name Afghan.
i do understand where you are going with this and you have totally lost the way and resort to makign things up to support another agenda which is reduction, isolation,no justice.
according to you pashtuns are on one side and no pashtuns are on other.thats ridiculous in the least terms.
but if you are a nationalist, ethnocetrist than i understand that you want to live in your little box too scared to come out of it and face the reality.
Man up and speak the truth and stop being shallow and biased.

But they are still living with Pashtun with no resentment from Pashtun nation. I know of Abdur Rahman khan, yeah.Originally posted by Amir al Ghaznavi View Postfirst you must look at historical precedent of how Pashtuns treated non Pashtuns

Again being very romantic? And who are Saifullahs by the way? You know them very well...
I heard it from those in the know of the things....Punjabis have reached the conclusion that keeping Pashtuns divided is in their best interests just as non-Pashtuns of Afghanistan genuinely think (from their stand-point)....That is why the overture to Rabbani...Imran Khan and others are working on that...Last edited by Toramana; 04-14-2011, 08:10 PM.

It is very obvious that whether Pashtuns merge into Afghanistan or in Pakistan is going to disturb the balance of power (in Afghanistan in the former case ...in Pakistan in the later case...)...It doesn't need rocket science to understand that....It is in the best interests of both if Pashtuns remain divided...
