    Amen, to that.

That's the idea. Obviously better then EU, I hope.

Reunion/union, creation, of afpak/loy/lar/pashtunistan/muslims/khurasan/etc isn't going to happen. It's a deep disconnect from reality given the conflicts and histories between the groups. No common interests between the groups either. Each believe in their superiority. I'd like it to be true, but its all daydreaming.

Wise people learn from experience. You should recall or perhaps read and learn from the history of Bengali nation.

Yeah keep on wishful thinking. Pakistan has already suffered disintegration once in 1971.

Punjab will still have the upper hand. why in the world would Afghans want to join such a union? As i said before our pashto might lose its status even more because of Urdu and Farsi. Trust me pakistanis would adopt farsi in a matter of second as their national language. They want to get as far away from their indic roots as possible.

Wanting a muslim union is different thing, even during the time of sahabas there were provinces with different nations. I don't mind joining a union between Loy Afghanistan (afghanistan +pashtunkhwa) and punjabistan or paksitan. As long as punjabis speak and get educated in their langauge and we get educated in ours, its fine. i have no problems with that.
Except the language could still be used in pakhtunwa, within Pakistan, as it is beginning to do so academically. Pashtu will be used in KPK as long as the pashtuns demand it. This doesn't negate the political structures or entities. There has never been a concerted effort to institutionalize the language. The problem is that most languages, including urdu, have no utility.

The thing with Pakistan vis a vis Kashmir is that Pak doesn't have to do anything, it's the Kashmiris fighting for their rights, however they define them (pak or independence or india or timbaktu). While afghanists keep blabbering on the internet and nothing happens. Keep trying and telling yourself things, probably the only thing to do given the pathetic state of pashtun nationalists and their dreams. Peace lala
Not at all, but I think I did that you felt the need to bring in the same old rhetoric. Listen Pakistan army built an entire slogan and budget on the Kashmir issue...so it isn't as simple as Kashmiris "Fighting for their rights"...the impacts of how it is dealt with has negative and/or positives effects on the two countries. I love how you took such an issue and basterdized it, kind of like the 1965 war lol.

Khaana I couldn't care less for ANP or PKMAP, however they managed to one up your country's stupid strategic depth policy. Now they have reversed on everything...amendments coming in, strategic depth is slowly backfiring, all in all a moment to cherish for the one true epic stupidity of the khakis.

Esapxai, that's exactly the point. Concerted efforts for gaining 'rights' within the current contexts and political entities (Pakistan and Afghanistan) before moving on to higher ideals like muslim unity and cultural unity reflected in politics. As sindhis had done long back, they demanded and got sindhi to be taught in all schools. Pashtuns have just passed this too. It's a process, and when we get to the desired conclusion, it won't matter what the borders looked like. But given the realities today of power structures, there's a fat chance of suddenly creating anything.

The answer to that is easy, work towards de-nationalizing urdu or towards making all languages national languages. Regardless, urdu and/or english will still serve as a means to communicate (lingua franca). People don't live in encased bubbles anymore, one must expand their horizons. Pashtuns (and all others) simply have to learn other languages. Sure, their primary means of communications can and should be pashtu. Most americans are going to be bilingual, learning spanish or french helps them. Most canadians have a rudimentary understanding of french. Chinese (mandarin) is making inroads in all countries.

fzpz, whether you are one of the descendents of Ranjit Singh or Goru Nanak or were a snake or a snail in the prvious spill of life according to your Hindu/Indian belief, don't try to push your Indianized ethno-chaunist views down our throat...The plain fact is, no matter how much you try you can't escape from your Indic/Hindu past, culture and ethnicity-wise...You belong to Gangetic Plains...we belong to Hindukush...Rest, this chicanery of citing Mandarine, French, etc. will not work...

We need to abandon everything Persian, and abandon everything Punjabi. we need a Pashtunistan with atleast a 70% pashtun population in order to save our race from extinction. call it Afghanistan if you wish call it what you want but thats what we need, simple as that.

The Loy Afghanistan concept will give you a 70% + Pashtun majority. What else do you need?
