Peace with Talibs is made, NATO leaves, Karzai is happy, but it turns out that Talibs have other plans. Talibs refuse to back down and want full control, NA revolts, Karzai caught in between. Karzai found dead. Some people blame Talibs, other blame NA. Most of Karzai brothers run out of the country. Civil War persuits, Pakistan put's it's support behind Talibs, Iran and India with NA. NA loses of course, back in the 5% of the land they controlled prior to 9/11. This time, since the mines are already removed, Talibs enter the 5% land and finishes the job.

    2015-20

An Islamic government in Afghanistan controlled by Pukhtoons is established. Pakistan is happy, Afghanistan has become it's 5th province. Though Talibs have a different plan. Islamic rule spreads to parts of Pakistan. TTP and Punjaabi Talibs revolt, Pakistan is now in civil war. Military officers and agency officers sympathetic to the cause of Islamic Khalifa join Talibs. Kashmiri Mujahids revolt against Indians. India is forced to get involved. The war turns from a Civil War between secular Pakis and religious Talibs into a war between Muslims and Hindus. Muslims in India revolt against India. Full scale religious war in the sub-continent. Course, history will repeat itself, Hindus will loose to the more aggressive Islamic fighters.

    2020-25

A Khalifa is established in the nexus of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Nothern parts of India. Else where Iran is gaining control over the Arab region. Before China and US get's involved, the Sunnis are pitched against the Shia's. A civil war between Shia's and Sunni pursuits.

There, who ever wins.....don't know. You bet, though that Western support will go behind one or the other. Once the Muslims are done slaughtering each other over "authentic" Hadiths and "real" Islam, whoever is left will be dealt with by China, Russia, Europe and the US.

    2025-50

Epic battle between soldiers of God, and soldiers of Satan. hehe
Wow LOL scary I better kill myself before seeing this happening LOL

At first, there is strict rules put in place mostly to protect the civilians from harm.

There is a campaign against all warlords from all ethnic groups. No distinction is made, and the new Afghan force (previous resistance groups) go after all and do not discriminate. They go after all criminals, and there is blood on the streets. People are happy. Security is given. This campaign against the criminal war lords is also done to unite the various ethnic groups in their common fight against injustice and crime at these guys hands. No mercy is shown. The criminals will never be back, some flee the country.

After at least a year of strict rule by the law. The new forces realize that the Social democratic Afghan parties have smart plans to move the country forward, and delegate most of all the running of economic institutions to them. They however, retain control over the Sharia courts, and the cultural well being of all Afghans.

fast forward, 2041, Afghanistan is the regional power in the region, and has now set its eyes upon KP and FATA.

US is completely insignificant at this point along with its allies. That would include Pakistan and India together. Afghanistan has made smart alliances with China and Turkey.

For years, there have been groups that have raised passhtun orphans in KP and FATA . As these regions now enjoy greater autonomy, they also become more brazen in their ideal to reunite with the fatherland.

There is 1 million man army that is armed to the teeth by Afghanistan.

Separation occurs with few skirmishes, as Pakistan armed forces have no more logistical support from any major nation.

Afghanistan has made a stronger relationship with China and even Russia (putting aside the past).

      we will see
      It sounds cool and reasonable

@ Nick Enriched Uranium is processed, not found in deposits..

Germany isn't a nuclear power because they dont need bombs, they have a treaty with the states whereas they can use US Nukes

That's right brother why do you think Iran has difficulties enriching? because they bought the most crapy kind of Uranium. If you gain access to high quility it all based on time right? so Research and you will know it only take 4 months to make one if you have a highly rich quilty Uranium.
That's again very expenisve to get hands into and Afghanistan one of few countries that has a rich quility Uranium. That was my point. And believe me even if you have all the tools you need as you may know process of enrichment is longer sometimes 10 years. Like Iran and where as Pakistan how long it it took them? they start the project in 1990 and investment was made in 1980s so why less time? its because they used rich high quility Uranium from either NWFP or Pamiri areas of Afghanistan.

^ There's a whole process of it, Pakistan actually had two nuclear programs running in parallel the uranium and the plutonium one..but i dont think a nuclear bomb will be a good thing for Afghanistan, it will invite an intervention for sure. However, i think nuclear energy maybe the best choice to tackle energy problems

My views are opposit of yours. U know Pakistan shakes their tails as well as many others simply because they have Nuc? We always ask so what? and guess what the respond is? We nuc you! its a must to have and for starters I think Electricity is just an excuse.

@unknown mate do you know the difference between TNT and a nuclear bomb ?

@Nick, Its a matter of perception to be honest id rather Pakistan not have a single nuke but be a prosperous nation..Weapons bring misery, electricity on the other hand brings cricket !

Also notice I am not in favor of Nuclear War which is why I somehow iqnored such stuff after all even if had nuc bombs and bomb Islamabad within hours its Rediation will reach Rahulpindi, and within a day into Peshawar, so it will affect our people as well. Beside we have problem with the state of Pakistan not with its people.

what they probably said was a disassembled nuclear warhead.

Further developed variants were the R-300 Elbrus / SS-1c Scud-B in 1961 and the SS-1d Scud-C in 1965, both of which could carry either a conventional high-explosive, a 5- to 80-kiloton nuclear, or a chemicalVX) warhead. The (thickened SS-1e Scud-D variant developed in the 1980s can deliver a terminally guided warhead capable of greater precision.

obviously they needed to make some small news, and a fool like me read into it. Now that I think about it, it was also reported for a few seconds on CNN. lOL this was way back.

WOW, can't believe this DAMNED failing war has gone on for most of my LIFE

You're assuming I don't know about scuds, unknownprince what you're not getting is that it's a totally different thing to make a rocket that is able to carry a nuclear warhead and something completely different to actually have a warhead

In Layman terms every country in the world today has missiles that can carry warheads

How many do you know that actually posses those warheads. Second point if there was such a warhead the Taliban would have ofcoursed utilized it not to mention US has sufficient tech to home in on the radiation signature if such a thing existed in the basement of this university

This isnt an argument I was humoring you

Afghanistan would have more justification for a nuclear bomb more than Pakistan. It has rivers of minerals, and has been invaded much more than Pakistan in recent times (and generally). Pakistan has justification for it also because of India's quest for a nuclear bomb a while before.

                              Amore realistic scenario

2011-2020 NATO-US leaves Afghanistan --- Taleban resurgents emboldened by the victory and backed by ISI and Punjab's army try to overrun Kabul after efforts at political settlements with Northetn Alliance fail...Northern Alliance declares independent Khurasan...Russia, Iran, India, US, Europe, Central Asian countries, etc. are quick to recognize Khurassan as an independent state...Taleban try to take it over but UN security council intervenes and declares Khurassan to be a "zone of peace" and authorizes member states e.g. NATO US to send contengents to defend it...

ISI backs up and Taleban are unsuccessful in taking Khurassan. Afghanistan splits into Khurassan and southern Afghanistan. There is a degree of Pashtun backlash against the disintegration of Afghanistan but Taleban with support from ISI and Punjab's army suppresses it.

With UN backing Kabul is given to Khurassan along with Hirat. Pashtuns are able to retain Kandahar and Jalabad. With international backing, Hazaras are able to take parts of Ghazni.

A clash (with ISI mechanation) between Haqqanis, Gulbuddin, and Mullah Ummar arises over control of territory and share in power in the truncated Afghanistan. ISI intervenes and divides the rest of the southern Afghanistan into three parts with north-eastern provinces of Kunar, Laghman, Nooristan, Nangarhar, etc. togethor with parts of Kabul province given to Gulbuddin, ...central provinces e.g. Piktiya, Paktika, Khost, Ghaznai, etc. given to Haqqanis, ....and Kandahar, Zabul, etc. handed over to Mullah Omar. This suits their purpose to pre-empt any chance of Pashtun unity and nationalistic backlash.

ISI plan is successful and the three warlords eventually declare union with Pakistan. Haqqanis are the first to do so followed by Gulbuddin followed by Mullah Omar.

During this time southern Afghanistan again becomes a hub of Jehadis around the world including Uzbaks, Chechens, Yughur, Arabs, Kashmiris, with mecenaries and suicide bombers trained and sent for Jehadi missions from Kandahar and other Jehadi centers. Pashtuns of Afghanistan and Waziristan form a significant contingent of such mercenaries.

As the Haqqanis, Gubuddin, etc. strengthen foothold, they back Jummath-i-Islami, TTP elements, and other terrorists in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa to slaughter ANP and PMAP cadres and leadership with tacit support from ISI.

2017 to 2025 Punjab's army and ISI emboldened by its success in Afghanistan reactivate insurgency in Kashmir with suicide bombers and mercenaries from Kandahar and the rest of Pashtun part of Afghanistan recruited by ISI and sent to Kashmir. Gulbuddin, Haqqanis, etc. eagerly support and contribute to the Kashmir liberation movement launched by ISI.

Kashmiri terrorists are also encouraged by the victory of Taleban in Afghanistan and dream to score such kind of victory against India. Pakistani ruling classes go for this option because of their obcession with Kashmir and the hard economic conditions and failing state system which requires an external problem to draw the attention of masses towards and to re-consolidate the dwindling national sense in them. This is also necessitated by the possibility of Jehadis turning on Pakistani state itself if there is no Jehad to fight on foreign lands.

India tries to incite an insurgency in Baluchistan but fails. Pakistan tries to reactivate Khalistan along with other insurgencies in the north eastern provinces of India with clandestine backing from China. As the Jehadis in Kashmir make gains, India warns Pakistan to end support for Jehadis and cross-border infiltration. When that doesn't happen, India attacks Pakistan on the Lahore sector. China mobalises army along Tibet-Sikham border to pressure India. US and NATO send warships to the Indian ocean and warn China not to intervene.

Almost on the verge of defeat, Pakistan uses nuclear bomb on military contonments inside Indian border. Punjabis of Lahore and Faisal Abad fearing nuclear reprisal from India ask UN to intervene.

US, NATO forces, Russia etc. attack the nuclear installations of Pakistan and destroy them. With that the process of disintegration of Pakistan reaches its logical conclusion with Baluchistan, Karachi, etc. going their own way and declaring Free Baluchistan and Jannahpur.

Pashtuns are clueless as what to do but gradually rally around Mahmood Khan and Asfandiyar or their political descendents. The sense of loss enrages them and they turn on Haqqanis, Mullah Omars, Gulbuddins, etc. and the rest of parastic religious families e.g. Mian, Mullah, Sayeds, both in KPK and Afghanistan (who sided with Mullah Omar and Pakistani army etc.) and slaughter them.

2022-2030 Pakistan disappears. Small autonomous states of Baluchistan, Greater Punjab as a dominion of India, Jannahpur, Sindhu Desh, Pashtunistan emerge instead. Khurassan ultimately disintegrates with Hirat, Ghor, and Bamyan declaring union with Iran and Uzbaks union with Uzbakistan. Tajaks reluctantly unite with Tajakistan. This process is completed by 2030.

I think you guys are really over exaggerating and dramatizing everything

2011-2015 Eventual and complete withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan..slight reintegration of taliban along with the Jirga sees peace efforts towards a political resolution

2015-2025 Afghanistan reeling from decades of civil war and strife starts rebuilding with a fairly sincere government ( Im assuming somwhere between 2011-2025 a leading pashtun political figure emerges )

2025+ You guys build on the economy, infrastructure..silk road truly materializes all parts of Afghanistan are connected through sound infrastructure and various ethnic tensions subside and give way to a more stable political environment..economy builds on.

2030 I goto Afghanistan having finally learned pashtu
