even though there isnt much known about kunar on the mainstream.
from my knowledge Kunar is inhabited mostly by Mamund,Safi,Momand,Shinwari.

Khurasani wrora Nuristani is a different ethnic group but they have much in common with Kunar.

Afghancoolguy the kunar de kom keley yee?

There are a few pockets of Nuristani communities in Kunar.

what tribe are the korengal people? i heard they spoke a different language. the reported may have just been stupid though, perhaps it is a strange dialect.

the US blamed their failure in the area mainly on not being able to intercept the language of the locals there.

can you shed some light wrora..

Every valley in mountaineous regions has its own dialect. That does not mean that they are from a different ethnic group.

yes they do live in kunar as well and some are also intermarried.
Nuristanis also speak Pashto and they have good relations with Pukhtane.

i dont knwo exactly but probably Pejawal(name comes from pech valley) and the dialect isnt much different.

i myself have to do a little research though

people from Kunar mostly go by the name Kunari,or kunaray and they dont go with the main tribe names but when they do its about the subtribes or Khel.
                            so there are many khels
