I think this clip same as one posted in the Female Afghan General thread?
If so, I recall the pinza and Alhamdulilahs was all I comprehended.

Anyone want to give rough summary of what the commander said?

      Tanks in advance...!

he is saying that they are very successful in the 4 districts in kandahar consisting of ghwarak, shawalikot, khakrez, and arghandab and that they are so powerful and in control of the area, that the ANA beg the taliban to not attack them. he says they will not desist from doing so until the ANA themselves lay down their weapons and stop supporting the invasion. he says the ANA are widely recognized as thiefs, rapists and criminals, so he says we don't want to have any dealings with them.

the weapon he shows is american and they have been bought by his group for 10,000 rupees along with bullets. he said someone confiscated it and sold it to them.

he says ask people was the country's security better off in the 6 years of taliban rule or now under americans? the americans engage in bombardments against civilians in places where taliban are not even present.

he says, they promised the locals here that they would build hospitals and clinics but they havent done so anywhere. he says i'll walk you through these 4/5 districts to prove they havnt fulfilled any of their empty promises. the people living in the cities, in their misery and desperation, approach the taliban complaining that there's no security and are asking them to either take over or they want to move to rural areas where they govern instead because americans and their puppet gov't have failed to bring security.

all kinds of crime are rampant in the areas under american/nato control.

          I didn't see this yesterday.
          THANK YOU!
          VERY ILLUMINATING!
          Much appreciated.

Why is THIS not on every major network, one may ask -
even simply to counter the American generals' claims.
Notice how there is NEVER ANY refutation of their
          estimates, prognostications, etc. ?

          This commander says it all.
I would like to hear about all this in more detail.

GYE, time for you to do a follow-up documentary, how about that?

Claims like this one make me wonder how they still hold credibility with anyone, anywhere.

            Thanks for sharing, was amusing.

              This clip seems so real.
The rest seem so fake - Journeyman's FAKE Taliban Commander
"interview" where the guy unsurprisingly repeats the American Party Line.

It's so true about those American carrots that were dangled before the
              population:
I'm surprised this sort of complaint has not arisen previously that
ZERO out of those promises were complied with.

In my opinion they were NEVER planned to be implemented EVER.
Excuses could always be drummed up, after all :

              "Oh sorry we're too busy
fighting those awful bad guys to bring you a new electrical power system

ah -- well, got to be going now folks, we're being sent home.
Maybe next time, folks, be seeing ya' now ...[jaunty wave of hand as embarks onto armored helicopter ]
