i am speaking in today's terms, indian side of kashmir is north india today also so is punjab.

But again your missing the point, i am not claming it existed in this area, maybe it was in afghanistan or Tajikistan, i dont know, I am just giving all the possible locations.

Again what is location to you? please dont say Europe, because that will expose your lack of education

ALso i know things have been in found in Kazakhistan/Russia border regarding aryans recently, however the dated items are a bit younger, there has been archaeological evidence found in Tajikistan and even northern pakistan regarding aryan existense there, heck even Indus civilization is full of the aryan symbol (swastikas) but i dont know if indus civilization was aryan or not, the debate is still going. Mostly nationalistic hindus claim this

Personaly i think the best location for Aryan home land is the wakhan corridor between Tajikistan/Afghanistan/Pakistan, but again nothing can be confirmed

it is not incorrect. pakistan, minus the illegitamte territories, was india around 60 or so years ago. indians still have much more in common with them in terms of ethnicity, language, dress and culture. pakistan is technically a seceded portion of india.

Yes punjabies/sindhis are closely related to other north indians, i am not denying this, but that has nothing to do with what we are discussing

roadrunner made an attempt at a flawed comparison stating how the name india, which stems from the indus river, is today an improper word considering the river is not in today's seceded portion of india. thus, i said it is still befitting since pakistanis are merely the children of seceded former indian nationals.

How long did that last? Greeks took control soon later. And then Asoka expelled them from Modern day India and Afghanistan.

                    Babo,

you really haven't got a clue if you think Persis and Afghanistan were part of the same country until the 18th century.

There was a period (the Archemian) when Afghanistan was a satropy of the Persian Empire, but it did not last very long (perhaps 100 years in the last 5000).

The two were seperated for the last 2,000 years for the main part.

True, but what is india really??? before the british came, India was like 10 different countries or Kingdoms, India was hardly a united nation, it was a nation of different tribes who kept fighting each other

Punjabies/sindhis are the people of indus, they always have been, a bengali/south indian or somebody can never claim to come from indus

Good point. How long was Afg/Pak and perhaps India the same empire for?

                        Good points.

i never said that either. that is why punjabis do not speak farsi or have a culture resembling that of persians but afghan tajiks do for example.

no that is actually a very flawed point. first of all the greeks never conquered afghanistan. second, asoka merely broke up the territory and reconquered it. he also did so before the emergence of modern day pakhtuns to the area by the way. the fact is that afghanistan and modern-day iran consisted of khurasan and ariana for over a thousand years.

You said.. "Iran was named after Aryan"

I said.. "India was named after Indus".

That is a fair comparison.. You in your haste and frustration then tried to extend what I said into saying that Pakistan is Punjabi (wrong #1) and that Afghanistan and Iran are Persian (wrong #2).

You're so desperate to prove Iran = Aryans. But you can't. All you can do is show a map of the Persian Empire.

Do you realize the Persian Empire ended over 2 millenia ago?

If one region of the Persian Empire for example used to worship dogs, does that mean the whole of the Persian Empire are dog worshippers?

If the same ex dog worshipping region became a part of the Mauryan Empire, then the Mauryan Empire would also be dog worshippers.

You see how appallingly bad and stupid your logic is?
