im not in one

I've met Mullah Mohammed Ameer (khdai de ubakhi), He was a very charismatic person who knew more about Pashto than these so called "nationalists" who read a few books yesterday and now think they are historians - Bijli Ghar actually lived in those times of British Colonial rule etc....Once, two American students came to him to ask him about Pashtun poetry which they were studying as part of their research on Rahman Baba.

He could have had a life of luxury as many people wanted to buy him out, even B Bhutto offered him money to try and bribe him, but he rejected and still refuted her - He similarly spoke against Musharraf and called him a sellout infront of crowds of hundreds of people in Peshawar, even with the FC present... and he was on a number of times imprisoned but still decided still speak the truth till his death.

Call him what you want, fire-brand, hard-liner etc. but he was a man of principle.

(He should have wrote a book of his fascinating life and times, but i guess a lot of his tales have been relayed in his speeches).
