origin of pashto and first pashtuns, from kandahar or around shinwari area?

i was round a night at a freinds house and there was about 6 of us and so 2 kandarian me and this other boi and there was 2 shinwari from naghar and 2 from laghman.

we argued about where pashto orginated from and us kandarian argued that kandari pashto is da orginal pashto while the shinwari and laghman argued that shinwari people were the first to speak pashto and then they furthur argued that shinwar area in nagahar is where pashtuns orginated from and that the shinwar area has an older history then kandahars.

so yh i want to no where did pashto orginate from?
where did pashtun orginate from and is the shinwari area really older then kandahar with a richer history?

mind you we argued about this for 5 hours streight so i want some serious answeres!!!

I'm of the opinion that Pashto probably originated much farther North, possibly Ghor or the mountains Surrounding Herat
