  • Londonzai Tribe

The Londonzai tribe of Pashtuns is a very big and mixed one. The majority of these Pashtuns were not originally from London, but were initiated through other factors (such as immigration, naturalisation, etc.) and number at least 10,000.

They live mainly in London (London Shaar/Khaar as it is properly known) and have varying jobs and occupations ranging from students and workers to doctors and extremely hypeactive mullahs.

The tribe's main leader is a 30-something year old train worker named Latif Nangrahari. There are several of their Mashars all over the different wolaswalis of London. The Londonzais have a strong presence on PF.

Among the most famous sub-tribes are the Croydonkhel, North Londonkhel, South Londonkhel, Birminghamkhel and Chelseakhel, all of which have numerous other divisions.

This really made me laugh. I can't stop laughing. Does NewYorkZai tribe also exist? I head they also have a pretty strong presence in a few boroughs.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

I am a proud Croydonkhel. The Londonzais are unique in that the older generations follow Pashtunwali, while the younger ones adhere to Footballwali.

                    Kunar:

I love your idea. It is very innovative.

There is a city called 'London' in Canada. There is a very small number of Pashtun families settled here. How should we name them?

                    I am not joking.
