one thing i have noticed while studying history of Afghanistan is that we dont have any one with lineage from Pre Islamic priests or those who claimed lineages from gods.
if i am not wrong all Aryan religions be it pre Zoroastrian paganism, Vedism, Zoroastrianism and Hinduism have 4 layer of Caste system to protect their Aryan blood from aboriginals.
Indics had Brahmins while we Iranic who were Majority Zoroastrians had a saparate class of Priests like Hindu Brahmins named Mage/Magic Priests (3 of them give blessings to Jesus(PBUH) after reaching their location by following a star.
Greeks Came, Scythians Arrived and Kushans Migrated from Tarim basin as well and they brought their Pagan Religion with them as well.
beside Iranic Paganism and Zoroastrian religion we had few other religions such as Buddhaism, nooristani and pockets of Hinduism in Kabul and kandhar region.
buddhists have bikku: Saints, Nooristani had their own priests and Hinduism had Brahmin. as ancient Afghanistan was dominated by these Religions who gave this sacred land very ancient and unique culture and civilization i have no doubt in my mind that large number of Holy men were living on our homeland for thousands of years till Arabs invaded it with New Religion Islam.
with New and current Religion of Aryan Afghans is Semitic Islam. with Islam we saw rise of Arab migrants and Persian migrants from Iran who wanted to avoid conversation and persecution from Arabs and those who wanted to Conquer and Convert pagans (Afghans) to Islam, Arabs.
various type of Holy Lineage came from Arabs such as a small Real groups of Sayyids(not counting Fake Indics), Akhunds and Pirs.
Sayyids are those who are descended from our last prophet Muhammad and his family(PBUA).
Akhunds are those Islamic Religious clerics/Mullahs who most likely migrated from New Sunni Muslim Iran to Afghanistan to convert this region.
Pirs are all kind of Muslim scholars and Religious mullahs who also came here to preach Islam.
are these Pirzadas and AKhundzadas descended from These Holy Figures? do they belong to noble lineage of those sacred people who Spread true word of god to us ? if we assume the answer is yes there where are those Buddhist Bikkus, Magi priests, Brahmins, Nooristani Priests, Greek Priests, Scythian and kushan Priests, Rabbis etc.
maybe lack of cold dose of Spirituality is what hurting Afghanistan with Hot dose of Radical Religious zeal ?
Men of Gods are that, just man of god. they can worship even man mad statues, Nature or be Nastic and try to achieve supreme knowledge. they are the one who brings spirituality in the society and spread it among the men. when you talk to these people you feel cold/calm and happy because you know they have read scriptures of gods and understand his teachings better then you.
they bring calmness in society and with Spirituality tone down Radicals within society. with them comes tolerance and prosperity in society and nation. with their demise comes Radicalism and Destruction of Society and Nation.
