The term hindu initially meant beyond the indus ie it was a racial/geographical term. The term morphed with time, with influence by the Europeans, it began to mean a specific religion.

Every single Pashtun has 20-30% Indic genes? Like every single Pashtun has been tested. Gene pools are a very complex subject bhaiyya... it's not as clear cut as you make out. In reality if we were all tested genetically for what DNA we carry, the chances are we would all find something completely unexpected.
