They come to America because they have money and watch Hollywood movies. The ones who move to America from India do it for worldy pleasures and not because they were chained in the bottom of boats (excluding the Indians of Guyana and Trinidad who were) lke my African brothers and sisters, or their villages were looted, bombed and raped like mines.
They migrate for a better paying job/education than they could ever find back at home.
