That is interesting. My brother as talking about how similar they are to us and that too, just by observing them. He says they are very family ordinated and loyal to each other.

Yes Somalia and Afghanistan are like mirror images of each other in everyday, their expat communities are the same in terms of their assimilation & education levels

No, the closest to Pashtuns, culturally, are by far the Baluchi's. Almost every aspect of Pashtun culture has a Baluch counterpart, even Pashtunwali. I dont get why everyone is trying to associate themselves with the Kurds nowandays. The Kurds are closer genetically and culturally to Assyrians then they are to Pashtuns.

            Not even close sorry.

The Somalis don't even live in tribes, they live in clans and they don't have a code like Pashtunwali or a set of ancient tribal practises like loya jirgas etc. You can say that Pashtuns are more closer to Native Americans than they ever will be to Somalis since they have always been really tribal and had their own style of dress and governments within their tribes.

Culturally, Pashtuns are definitely closer to Arabs and Baluchis.

if pashtuns had money, would they become lazy like fat gulf arabs or would they work to build a better society for themselves and muslims at large?

Well Pashtun land is already rich with all the resources and stuff, but i think they would develop some kind of technology and considering how forward Afghanistan was in the early 60s which was leading in the research of medical and engineering, i can see us not being lazy. Otherwise if that fails they can always use Tajiks and Hazara's as servants to build big tall fancy buildings lol.

Really? Baluchis are desert-dwellers like Arabs, they have some Sindhi inspired customs. Only north Baluchis of mountain areas share similarities but they are minority.

The only Baluch who are close to Pashtun are the Pashtun origin ones themselves but majority of pure Baloch who are native converts/Balochified Dravidians etc are very different some of them have distant Arab or Kurdi origins but it's diluted & they only claim for pedigree

Lol, baluchified Dravadians. It seems as if every ethnic group in the world that is not Dravadian or Indo-Aryan are just Dravadians and Indo-aryans who have had a different culture or language forced upon them according to you. In fact Ethiopians are in reality Dravadians who migrated to Ethiopia where they were forced to adopt Christianity by the ruling Jewish aristocracy, Right?
