Many Pashtuns from Logar province all seem very Persianized too in terms of language, like the people in this documentary. But culturally these people are clearly not Persianized at all, they are still very Afghan.

And there are many Pashtunized Tajaks as well. There is a large tribe in Swat which is actually Tajak by roots. Its name is "Akhun Khel". They are also found in the Hazara region of Pakistan. There they are mixed with Swatis.
In the Dir district, Charssada, Mardan, there are large number of Tajaks mingled with the larger population now Pashtunized.

How do you know the Akhun khels are pashtunized? where is your proof for such a claim? i know there are tajiks in pakistan but most of them live in kohistan or the gilgit balitstan area.Originally posted by Toramana View PostAnd there are many Pashtunized Tajaks as well. People need to understand that "Tajik" is a very broad term that can have tons of meanings which has had different definitions for many people. In essence, Tajiks are mix of different people with different origins who are united under one language. Therefore they are not a true ethnic group in a true sense.Last edited by Kushan Prince; 07-11-2014, 12:21 AM."Revenge is a dish best served cold".

Basically any urban Pashtuns living in cities who have adopted Farsi as their first language. This phenomenon is most common in Kabul, Herat and Mazar where Pashtuns speak farsi instead of Pashto.
Even Kalakani, the bandit king of Afg was believed to have been a Persianized Pashtun."Revenge is a dish best served cold".

Afghanistan is full of persainised pashtun.
Herat, kabul, shamali, farah, logar etc are full of persainised pashtuns.
Most educated and rich class of pashtuns in afghanistan are mix with tajiks and others.
Many of the top leaders there speak parsi at home.
Duranis are more influenced by tajiks then others.
Laghmanis are also very much influence by persains .
Nangariharis living in kabul are also persainised.
I would use the term tajikified for them.
yes, there are pashtunised tajiks in pashtunkhwa but in small numbers.
Good number of them are in swat, some in dir.
Minor papulation can be find in swabi, mardan ,charsada etc.

Support pashto language and greater pukhtoonkhwa.

The interests of persianized pashtuns are usually aligned with those of pashto speakers. But desified pathans of hazara, punjab and karachi have quite anti-pakhtun sentimentsHistory of Pashtuns

No killzai. You are considered Pashtun when you belong to a Pashtun tribe. The kings of Afghanistan all spoke farsi but still considered themselves Pashtun because they belonged to Pashtuns tribes. You got non -Pashtuns in Kandahar like the qizilbash and a few Tajiks who can speak pashto but they are not Pashtun because they do not belong to a notable Pashtun tribe. Non-Pashtun pashto speakers are just considered as Pashto speaking but never pashtun.Originally posted by Leywanae View PostYou don't speak Pashto then you're not Pashtun as simple as that.
A non-Pashto speaking child of Pashtun parents is not a Pashtun himself if he doesn't speak and/or practice Pashto, instead he is merely a Pashtun descendant.
If you don't belong to a pashtun tribe, then you are not pashtun.
