This is for everyone who is from this heavenly place and have suffered a lot and I hope it will bring some memories and smiles with it!
1) When you say "jo" in every other sentence and dont even notice it.
2)you know what "warjalay" is and love it with asli ghwaree
3) you love "da waroo paratay" and are proud that it is specialty of swat!
4)when you are related to every other person from swat in one wway or other
5)rice is cooked almost everyday and yes somtime at day time.
6)when you run you put your chappal in your hand and run with wide arms pretneding that you are flying (0fcourse when you were a kid)
7)you hated it when your mom used to put "para" (mercury) in you hair for lices (but it did work)
8)you know what kalosh is and have seen you grandad or uncle etc wearing it
9)as a boy you have played tikaan and anpra kakay as main sport
10) as a girl you have played chindakh and have always cheated at "ado bad".
11) as a girl you made dolls(nainzakay) with "jaroogay dakki" cover with palash of brasthan and a button as its face! and it used to get married to " khan gwalay"
12)Despite all the beating you still go for swiming to either "khwar" or "sin "whichever is clsoer!
13)makan bagh is a place for da swat taamyan
14)malak market was the place to get videos.
15)every summer atleast once you either go to malam jabba , kalam and/or marghuzar and take a lamb with you and do bar B Q there!
16) you cool you coke and pepsi in cold water rather than buying a cold one
17)you have to eat when everone else is eating even if you are not hungry
18)If you are a son/daughter of a doctor you are most definatley gonna end up in a medical college even if they have to pay 2 lac per year !
20)If someone stars a business and its successful every other person starts it!
21)when it rains you always want to eat kabab and moslty end up doing so
22)you think mujahid malai is best ice cream
23) on asan (muharram) you cook ghungrii and you love it.. only you hate that strange leaves in it
24) girl cook "katwai" and boys makes plan to steal and most of they time they do steal it!
25)where ever you see "da srroo macho gag" its your "farz" to destroy it
26) you have been told that killing "srray machay" is good and is sawab
27)you are always excited about malakand tunnel when you go to peshawar!
28)almost all of your childhoood you got your shoes from BATA or servise!
29) you do go for fishing once in a while and use dynamtie and fry fish then and there!
30)you assume all buneryaan are kamakal
31) you assume anyone who is from pakistan and cant speak pustho is punjabay
33)you assume all punjabyan are beghairatha
34)you go for taraway not for sawab but mostly for fun and find a mosque qhre its done quickly
35)in summer once a week you definatly go to fizza gat
36)you are proud that swat have an airport
37)as a kid you used to wake up for ever peshmanay and always said you are keeping fast but hardly kept any of them
38)in peshmanay menu "wreejay" is always present
39) when you start writing with pen you are asked to start writing with dollar pen it will improve your writing!
40) you go for tution for almost every subject
41)every family has atleast one custom chor car
42)you go to mingora almost everyday and you know there is nothing you need !
43)When someone call from abroad even if the voice is clear your grand ma still shout on the phone!
44)you hear from your dad or uncle that they have been to filim shootings and are proud of it!
45) you are proud that queen came to swat
46) your parents think wali saib time was a golden time
47)when you first start driving you always go to "kalonay" (college colony) for a ride and you think its cool
48) you fight with your brother for front seat
49) you hate it when your elder brother put all "peeraway" (cream) on rice (and if you think it doesnt happens you are the elder one)
50)there is "bar" swat but no "kuz" swat
51)all girls seem to have one taylor in sawt and yes you guess it he is hameed
52)you call it sheen chai not kahwa
53) you always see "sra ugda" mithai in all function and you either love it or hate it
54) you always make an excuse to to get into the house in weddings
