Hence, I view the "Arabization" of Pashtuns with saddened eyes, for we must preserve the culture and language of our forefathers, although we must also discard of traditions that are uncouth and inhumane. Why not evolve and expand our culture and language instead of adopting the customs of another people?
I have lived in an Arab country for a year, and not just as an expat worker doing a basic job in the gulf but in a professional capacity dealing with the middle class and also working class. This was Syria, obviously before the war.

Arabs believe that someone (a non-Arab) being Muslim necessitates in some sort of way an acknowledgement that Arabs are superior or the guardians of Islam. They feel jealous if non-Arabs are equal or above them in a place.

Yesterday for example I was talking to a friend about a mosque in London set up by South Asians which Arabs (Moroccans) found out about and slowly started to muscle in and used dishonourable tactics to gain greater and greater power. In another mosque in London, some of the Morrocans cannot accept it being run by West Africans (the mosque was set up by them and was originally their cultural centre) and have tried doing things there too.

This is not just anecdotal but borne out by history.

    1. The Ummayads made non-Arab Muslims in to semi-slaves and made them pay the jizya (reserved only for non-Muslims in Islamic law).

The Arab racism to non-Arabs played a big part in the Abbasid revolution.

    2. The Arabs in Spain discriminated against the Berbers, one reason for their disunity and eventual loss of Muslim Spain.

Non-Arabs such as Malays, Bengalis, Pashtuns, Turks, Iranians, Bosnians must understand that Arabs essentially do not like them and work to improve themselves independently of Arabs.

A few years ago when there was talk of building an Islamic car, it involved Turkey, Malaysia, Pakistan and Iran. No Arab country was involved.

    We do not need Arabs.

Bangladesh is the only Muslim country in the world to have its own script i.e. not Arabic based like Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan or Latin (Indonesia, Somalia) or Cyrillic.

Bostan,,,why do,nt you creat a thread about parsiwanization of pashtuns?
The few arabs living in pashtunland are more pashtunists then the others. They are at least not racists like persains.
It is the persains harmed pashtu language and culture first we should get rid of them followed by others.

The concern is pakistanization and foreign Punjabi culture for Pashtons who are not Aboriginal by race nor South Asian. The Arabs have little influence culturally although the Saudi's who are not really from Saudi Arabia to begin with try to enforce their policies over Afghans and Iranians which is alarming.

Perhaps a wall should be built to divide the Eurasian continent from the rest of the subhumans.

I don't have a problem with Farsi-Persianization because, Pashtuns are the closest to the ancient Persians (more so than Tajik or Iranian) as is their language, two brothers divided by Foriegners. Iranians and Pashtuns have had no invasion of countries in the last few hundred years.

Arabization is in the garb of religion not purely cultural.

Beard, veil, opposition to music, dance, fine arts, paintings, sculpture, mysticism, zyara(visiting tombs of Imams and saints)not allowing mixing of men and women etc is Arabization of Pashtuns by Wahabism and Salafism.

Wahibism is pushed primarily by Porkistan, Afghanistan unfortunately has an illegitimate neighbor. The same restrictions you bring up also share tradition in communism, Stalinism, Nazism and other secular man made justification of the norm, not necessarily religion..the notion of an "ideal state".

The idea is to follow Israeli and Chinese policy, Build a wall surrounding Eurasia from the inferior races.

it may be because majority of the pashtuns follow deobandi sect which again is a inspiration from wahabi/salafi sources,

Could be one of the reason.

wahabhi/Salafis is not Arabization, it is an ideology. Most of the arab world is not Wahabhi/Salafi and they have many different cultures.

I have seen Arabs respecting people who speak very fluent arabic and have great knowledge of Islam, of course nationalist arabs are racist like any other race, but the religious ones tend to respect anyone who has a lot of islamic knowledge.

Also to understand Islam, Arabic language is a must

that makes no sense considering that pashtuns are far more conservative than arabs as a whole.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

It also makes no sense because Beards are a product of human biology, veiling has existed in the region prior to Islam arriving and Arabs who are not strictly abiding by Islam or are not Muslim also have Sculptures, Statues and mixed gathering of men and women. There are saints and Tombs ALL over the Arabic speaking world.

It can´t be limited to the Jihad-era against the Soviet socialist ultra-state. Arabs came in large waves from Central Asia and Middle-East to Afghanistan in the last 100years (for example Mojadeddi and Gailani family). While Arabs who settled in Afghanistan before Jihad became fully assimilated and integrated into our society, Arabs coming for Jihad still act and behave as Arabs. According to official state sources (government sources) we have alone in Kandahar 60 000 Arabs living there. The last time when I asked one of those walis (3 weeks ago) about the number of Arabs and new-comers, one told me that the number of Arabs is much higher than the state has declared. Alone in Kandahar 120 000 to 180 000 people live who are originally Arabs coming mostly in the last century and a vast majority of them during the Jihad. Their number is increasing. The new-comers bring with them their religious ideologies as Jihadists from Maghreb did. Under the frame of Jihad they influence the society and our country. I heard that Mujadeddi and his son want to open Arab schools in Afghanistan coming next year. What is your thought? I don´t like Arabs at all. They are loud and violente and very intolerante toward other people.
All ethnicities are welcome in Afghanistan so to speak as there are not many people begging to be there. I would definitely say the Russian war and it's aftermath have brought many foreign ethnicities, including Chechens, E. Europeans, Central Asians (Uzbeks, Tajiks, Turkics from China), and there has been migration in the past when the Russian Bolsheviks pushed many south; Even prior to that, descendants of Bedouin Arabs have peacefully lived in Afghanistan for centuries. Their presence does not bother me, but the presence of Afghans who are ignorant of their own identity and cling to some Arab/Jewish identity that worries me more. Hopefully they make up a very small, ignorant minority.

I also don't mind Arabic being taught at high schools and universities, it can help with commerce and cooperation between Afghanistan and the Arab world. Considering that even with 100,000 or a million strong population, these people will still become assimilated and speak Afghan languages in the future. Like all other immigrants to the country, they will become just another ethnic group.

In the perspective of economic ties I agree with you 200 %, but what will happened when this "powerful" immigrants in the future want a separate state from Pashtunistan? Like some ethnicities that "moved" in 100 years back wants today a separate land from our motherland. It feels not really good, so I am for teaching all major foreign language not only in University but rather at the age of 10. The limit age for learning a language perfectly or very fast is pre 14. After 14 it gets difficult.

But I am against foreign immigrants living in Pashtunistan permanent.

Yeah at this point I agree with you Even in history we couldn't seen any assistance from the countries of Arab peninsula..

And I also would like to add this:
In Turkey, the leader of Islamic party and the founder of Islamic motion is Necmeddin Erbakan (he died in 2011)..
His only/ most important wish was to constitute an Islamic union just like Europian.. And he constituted D-8 (developed 8 Islamic countries)..
He chose this countries according to some principle like technological power, like agricultural wealth, like labor, like natural resources or population.
                              The union is still available..
Anyway, the countries of the union:
                              Turkey
                              Pakistan
                              Bangladesh
                              Malaysia
                              Iran
                              Indonesia
                              Egypt
                              Nigeria

Through the D8, with collaboration , labor sector in each country..

                              Turkey: industry, healthcare
                              Egypt: trade/commerce
                              Iran: science, technologhy, telecommunication
Indonesia: battle with poverty and labor
                              Bangladesh: country/rural development
                              Nigeria: energy
                              Pakistan: agriculture and fishing industry
