So if we take religiosity, conservativeness and simplicity as measurements then we can measure who is and who is not normal.

I have tried to measure Pashtuns in Holland and Germany accordingly. I have concluded that the Dutch and German Pashtun is the most delusional and misguided of all.

Most of them are no longer practising Islam. A large chunk of them openly distantiate themselves from Islam.

A large group among them barely speaks any Pashto. Smoking and drinking is very commonand they do allot of what we call demtob and other more reprehensible things i cannot mention.

Since Holland and Germany are wearing the crown of misguidance America and Canada are in second place.

The good thing about America is that many American Pashtuns still consider themselves as Muslims. Aside from general ignorance their religiosity is better than the people of Europe.

However Americans and Canadians are mtv pathans. Extremely shallow america worshipping misinformed degenerates.
Most of them are uncle toms. They work as tarjumans for US Army.

The best Pashtuns are UK Pashtuns. They are generally pretty much authentic.
Let me guess, you live in the UK. How is being a translator for the US army being shallow and wrong? It is only when you don't the damn language you claim you know when it is wrong.

I have seen afghans and Pashtuns in the UK that act horribly. And it's not because they don't want to be Pashtuns or afghans anymore. They have the wrong image of thier country, their culture, and their religion. They don't want to be associated with a culture or religion that assumingly acts in certain ways. They see thier parents not acting Pashtun so what are you going to assume about their kids.
I live in America, am i shallow, worshipping, misinformed degenerate? How many people do you know living in america and canada that act this way.
You just gave us a detailed image of what "normal" pashtuns are like. "normal" pashtuns are also judgemental, not wanting change. This makes you the normal pashtun, judging people before you know them, seems like you don't like or want change. and belittling people. Great job on showing the rest of the world how accepting pashtuns are of others!!

Well... i can't say anything about that since I don't know anything about it. But I am not going to say that anyone that is not an orginially afghan pashtun, that they are not pashtun. The problem we have is that all these differe tribes, tajiks, uzbeks, hazaras, pashtuns, we all believe we are afghans, but there is still this disunity among all of us. If we united against the rest of the world, then we wouldn't always have other countries invading us and taking advantage of our country.

Pashtuns were Pashtuns before they were Muslims and there are many Muslims who are not Pashtuns. Pashtuns can be simple or complex depends on the personality, background, education, exposure, job and milieu. Pashtuns can be conservative or radical or liberal or communist, revolutionary, democratic , republican pr of other political/ideological orientation depends on political, intellectual, artistic and literary affiliation.

The only thing which Pashtuns should not abandon is their language, culture, norms, values, Pashtunwali otherwise they will lose their identity. Pride to be a Pashtun and demonstrating it in one's personality, character, behavior and attitude is of paramount importance. Also one should be attached to Pashto literature, history, art, music, dance, folklore and linguistics.
Such a statement is absurd to make since ABSOLUTELY NO academic source confirms that Pashtuns existed prior to 1000 A.D.

I may not agree with the contents of the links below but all agree about the thousands years old origin of Pashtuns.

One important aspect of tradition Pashtun culture is the code of Pashtunwali or Pathanwali, which sets out standards for individual and communal behavior. This code may date back to at least the second century BCE, although undoubtedly it has undergone some modifications in the past two thousand years.

It seems likely that the Pashtun have been in the area for at least 4,000 years, then, and probably far longer.

though most scholars believe it more likely that they arose from an intermingling of ancient Aryans from the north or west with subsequent invaders.

Their origin is unclear but historians have come across references to various ancient peoples called Pakthas (Pactyans) between the 2nd and the 1st millennium BC,[16][17] inhabiting the region between the Hindu Kush mountains and the Indus River, who may be the early ancestors of the Pashtun people. Since the 3rd century AD, they have been mostly referred to by the ethnonym "Afghan".[18][19][20]

Pull out your swords and slay anyone that says Pashtun and Afghan are not one. Arabs know this and so do Romans: Afghans are Pashtuns and Pashtuns are Afghans!

Khushal Khan Khattak (1613–1689) was a prominent Afghan(pashtun) poet, warrior, charismatic personality and tribal chief of the Khattak tribe of the Afghans. He is the first Afghan mentor who presents his theories for the unity of the Afghan resistance against the foreign parts, and the creation of a nation-state.

None of the sources you listed are current nor are they the current academic opinions. They're out dated and have been nullified. Your first source claims Pashtuns are Israelites. which is clearly untrue by genetic evidence. So claims alluding to this are debunked.

The Pakhtas/Pactyan hypothesis is a WEAK theory which does not remain Consistent with Pashto linguistics which asserts the SHH or Kandahari dialect precedes the KHH or Munga Dialect Which means that if these were Ancient Pashtuns they would have have a SHHH or Kandahari type of word. Furthermore Pactyan and PAKHTOON have different Consonants PaCt is a HARD K and PAKHHHH has a grating sound. So These would only indicate Similar sounding words NOT correlation. Furthermore references to such people do not demonstrate whether they spoke Pashto. So thus there is no evidence. Since for something to be evidence would require there is a strong connection.

Also The statement you posted talks about EARLY ANCESTORS to Pashtuns; this does not make them Pashtuns. So in fact by citing this source, You're contradicting the prevuous source. Which by the way claims that Pashtuns are Israelites.

So again ...Your assumption is absurd since there is NO academic source confirms Pashtuns are more than 1000 A.d.

You're believing in just a lie that is told to you.

Here's another interesting and very funny quote from one of the links BADLUN posted and claimed as an ACADEMIC source.

This is so hilarious, and it demonstrates that Many Educated Pashtuns are actually very uneducated.

This quote comes from THIS link that BADLUN put in his last post to claim as an ACADEMIC source. Hahahha

Famous Pashtun people in history include the Ghaznavids, the Lodi family, who ruled the fifth iteration of the Delhi Sultanate, and current Afghan president Hamid Karzai.

LOl Ghaznavids are Pashtuns now? One can see Badlun's sources are academic garbage.

How are they killing people when they are not given guns or any kinds of weapons. I agree that some are idiots and make things up when they don't know the language, but not everyone is like that. People that are not doing anything are just as bad because they know what is happening and they are letting the killings, the rapes, the robberies, the injustices happen.
