Yeah , I wouldnt fight for a pashtunistan where we become slaves of other tribes. Durranis would always claim to rule and they would consider us inferior.

Strangely I agree, I think the fate of any such attempt would be more or less the same, I would like to see what Shlombay has to say about this.

Sher Khan is just jumping up and down on bandwagons. The point is there will be no `claim` to rule the country. There is something called a government with a legitimate way of ruling...there is no such thing as durrani king ships anymore. So the point is useless.

If you support pashtun wali , then this is relevant . Pashtun history is full of tribal wars. You can not avoid it .

Malgariya, the tribal wars among Pashtuns are a miniscule concept that has no bearing on our National Aspirations. Durranis cannot be totally sovereign when the Yousafzais are under occupation and vice versa. I think a manifestation of this is the on-going 30 years war on Pashtuns. The Pashtuns of Afghansitan, the Durranis, the Ghilzais and the others, were defensless in front of the Punjabi onsalught because the Pashtuns of Pashtunkhwa were weak and powerless. The Mahsuds cannot live peacefully if the Wazirs are under occupation.
Malgariya, You make it seem as if the Pashtun Watan is fragmented along tribal lines. The Muhammadzais and Utmanzais of Charasadda have no existence of their own unless they link up with the Momands to the West and the Yousafzais to the East and to the North. The Yousafzais of Sawabi and Mardan cannot define themselves as an entity, political or economic, without the Yousafzais of Dir and Swat. The tobacco of Sawabi cannot benefit the Yousafzais unless the markets of Peshawar and Mardan are open to them. The southern tribes, Marwat, Banuchi and others have a lifeline in terms of the Abasin River which is shared by the Yousafzais and Khattaks (theoretically. Practically all of it goes to Punjab). The tribal rivalries between the Durrani and Ghalzais for Kandahar are well-documented but we have also seen them united against a common enemy. All in all, in the grand scheme of Pashtun/Afghan Milli Wahdat, these tribal issues are miniscule.
The restoration of the political rights of Pashtuns from the Punjabies, the economic rights and the cultural rights is too grand and all-inclusive an ambition and a necessity for these tribal issues to stand inbetween.

Now those are really nice words!!!. How I only wish more Afghans would think and feel the same way. The only thing we need is the only thing we dont have; Unity.

Malgariya, just because we are not united does not mean that we deserve to be killed and maimed literally, politically, economically and culturally. You cannot use our disuntiy against us.
Secondly, how do you assume that most Afghans/Pashtuns do not want unity?

because it takes 2 people to unify. Afghans are yelling for unity while Pakistnis are indirectly saying leave us alone.
Malgariya, who are Pakistanis? The Pashtuns to the East of the Durand Line are not Pakistanis. We are Pashtuns/Afghans and we want to live in Loy Afghanistan. As I have said before, the reason for the perception that the Pashtuns of Pakhtunkhwa are with Pakistan is the state propaganda and indoctrination for the past 63 years. There has always been a significant segment of people of Pakhtunkhwa who want Pashtun Milli Wahdat, the foremost among them currently being PkMAP and Mashar Mahmood Khan.

You need to admit that the majority bow to the flag of Pakistan. We have members like Luffy and etc who proudly sing the Farsi national anthem of Pakistan. We have members who proudly say they are Pakistani.

Malgariya, the only 2 cities of Pakistan that still say they are Afghan are the Pashtuns of Karachi and Quetta. No one can't dare to call a Pashtun from Quetta a Pakistani since they were kandahari. And Karachi, sohrat goth, sher shah are all pashtuns who claim to be Afghan.

                            can we bit more realistic.
Malgariya, I apologize for my poor English, which, I suppose, is the reason you completely seem to ignore my posts. Let me try Pashto:

'Jaanana, Che Da Durand Da Karkhe Khateez Ta Praata Pashtaana Zaan Pakistaaniyaan Bowly, No Hagha Daa Illat Laree Che Dagha Pukhtaana 63 Kaala Da Pakistan Da Dawlat Da Jabar Aw Da Dawlati Fishaar Sara Makh Dee Che Khpal Pashtun/Afghan Bansatuna, Masharaan, Waak aw Ikhtiyaar, Khpal Haquq, Khpal Milli Masawuliyatuna, Khpala Khaavra, Khpala Taatobe, Khpal Watan aw Khpal Millat Heyr Krhee. Da Pakistan Da Dawlat Daa Fishaar Da Joseph Goebbels Da Propaganda Na Deyr Tawaani Dey.'

                            Secondly, Realism is over-rated.

Sher Khan you are just diverting things, laying claim to pashtunwali when it is beneficial and discarding it when it is not. I can`t take things like this seriously. Come to me when you have come up with something of merit.

If Luffy is one example then so is Nadir or Maseed. You can`t pick and choose a scenario to build your case....this isn`t a buffet. Nadir is not talking about the issue of x,yz bowing to a flag, but rather of long term political interests. And at the end of the day, interests trumps any `bowing down to a flag`or whatever else. You can`t just speak on a such a wide basis. What other parts of Pashtunkhwa have you been to?
