  • Is Subservience to Non-Pashtuns Against our Culture?

Is it against our nang , ghairat (honor and dignity) and the spirit of Pashtunwaali to be ruled by non-Pashtuns?

Does it go against our self-respect to be answerable, loyal and subservient to 'foreign' higher authorities whether they hail from Central Asia, India or Europe?

"Foreigner" here means any "Outlander" or any "Non-Pashtun".

Edit: To avoid any unnecessary confusion here, I mean subservience in a political sense. Of course, in your universities, jobs, etc, you are answerable to someone who is senior to you - that has nothing to do with this.

"If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be".

"Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives".

hmm.....depends if u mean in our land den no. However not many pashtuns are educated and they'll put prioirty of pashtunwali before any gain. and its a dog world out der so sometimes u may have to give ova fings priority.

No not at all... why shld it? there are things called being allies... no doubt one power in a political pact will be more dominant... pashtuns at this instance have no offical country (I exclude Afghanistan as Afghanistan now is farsi zubaan and NWFP/pakhtunkhwa is under desi influence.... only a unified Pakhtunkhwa/afghanistan is a true Pashtun state) anyway we at this instance have no power.... any allies the pashtun ppl make will be more dominant than us,... this is fact

besides if pashtu was truly a national language of Afghanistan it would be spoken by a larger proportion of ppl than it is now... as it is... all documents etc and affairs are conducted in DARI which is language of farsi zubaan...
