Dear Friend, Yes, my name means "Path", literrally the original ancient word was "Tjarana Parth" = "passed path", later it transformed to one word "Tjanaparh"=path

Tj is quiet specific as sound, so I actually don't really know to transcribe it - its a intermediate sound between J(like in Janana) and Ch(like in Chinar), so i wrote it Tj

Wow how absurbd! Wikipedia claims the name to of arabic origin. This is total BS i don't belive any of it!

"Wazir (Arabic: وزير‎) is an official title, meaning Minister in several West and South Asian languages. Its equivalent in English is vizier. The style comes from the Arabic word wezr (Arabic ِوِزر), which means "burden". Thus, a wazir is literally someone who helps carry a burden, by helping the head of the state get the job done. It is also used as a family name."

Isn't Vazir a kind of title like governor in Islamic countries?

Some linguists like Georg Morgenstierne say "Pashtun" derives from Parsawā-, the same root from which Parsi (and Farsi) also derives. This is the most likely scenario.

In other theories, "Pashtun" derives from Bakhtrian or Paktrians, the Eastern Iranian-speaking Bactrians, or it derives from Paktha, an ancient tribe from Paktia.

                The second theory is correct.

Yes in old times wazir was next to the president in powers and in authority.

I don't actually know if this title existed on Afghan land, but for sure it existed in the Sultanates westwards.
I have also no idea if the Wazir pashtuns name has any relation to the "Wazir" title.
I mean words may sound similar but have different origin, for example in my language "Vazir" is imperative of Vazel(meaning to run), so Vazir=Run!

Well Baktrian sounds more logical and closer geograhically, on the origin of Parsa are also different theories I think, but if it has to do with Fars region, than it is for sure difficultly to attribute to Pashtuns.
Still this complicates it more, because my question was about the meaning of the word, but we arrived for now only on two potential derivates, where we don't know the meaning neither.

However at least it is easier that almost all call You he same way.
We are called by different nations in quiet different ways. Nobody almost call us like we call ourselves "Hay", in most languages to term "Armen" is used. Georgians say "Somekh" to us, other caucasians have similar words

I personally believe it is pure coincidence. I mean look the name Khan. In Europe, it is spelt as "Kahn" and has a completely different meaning. I'm pretty sure Pashtuns were using it before arabs and didn't know they were using it.
