Pashtanajana, haveyou ever wondered what momand means. What is is derived from? I'd like to know.
Some kaums are known for name of area or famous ancestor. Momands, i dont know. Even the two areas dont explain the original meaning as in the momand agency in pk and momand darra in ningarhar.

Mohmands originaly came from central Afghanistan but witnessed vast migration due to Mongol settlement in the area.

First of all swati and khan is not a tribe name, swat is a nameof a place, and khan is a title and also many hindos in india and pakistan adopted khan as their last name after converting to islam. Most of the KHels are subtribes( could be thousands)

Salman khan and sharrukh khan all have Pashtun anscestry in them. Mostly all the khans in Bollywood and India who carry the name khan are of Pashtun descent. The fake khans are mostly the punjabis of pakistan who carry the name for no reason whatsoever.

Where is your proof? Salman Khan's grandfather was from Afghanistan and his mother was a Marathi from India. So that makes him of mixed afghan and Indian ansecstry. Amir Khan's family is from herat, Afghanistan. Also, Sharrukh khan is not from Swat, but from Kabul. His great grandfather migrated from there.

Swati is a pashtun tribe in batagram and mansehra, used to live in swat, untill defeated and expelled by yousafzais from afghanistan. The first muslim rulers of kashmir, swati dynasty, were from this tribe

Swat is place in northern areas of Pakistan i think . It's not a cast of Pashtoons. But a large population of Pashtoons resides there. And they speak Pashtoo.

Sub tribes who are khels or zai's are part of much larger tribes.

It is usually in karachi where mohajirs pretends to be pathans, syeds, mughals, qureshi etc. In manshera (hazara) most of the pashtuns are pashto speaking yousafzais and swatis, in its ogi tehsil. Some swatis though speak hindko there. Manshera is adjacent to pashto speaking districts like batagram and tor ghar. Its "tanoli" tribe, hindko speaking pathans whose origin is not fully clear.
