Father-Daughter relationships

How would you describe your relationship with your father or daughter? Are you close, or is the relationship aloof, as it used to be in the past?

Does your father make all your life decisions? Do you have a say?

Girls share a lot of things with their mothers like how they feel about things or people or what they want out of life etc, to what extent have you shared these with your father?

Fathers, do you encourage this in your daughters?

Ahhhh that's kind of a ummm how do I say it very delicate subject for me.. My dad has never really thought me anything that I will remember one day and tell my kids that ur grand pa has thought me this... BUT who I am and who my siblings are is because of him... I'm very grateful for having him as my dad but we are really not that close as me and my mom are... He makes most decisions with my oldest brother.. I think he let's my oldest brother make most decisions because he is old enough in his 40s

Fathers should be strict, yet understanding with both sons and daughters. In the western world especially, it is really easy to get lost for kids and teenagers

^Yes your right, if I get children I would be a strict father but not a total control freak, but anyhow I don't want my kids to turn out to be like Hakim the drug adicted atention who.re or become brainwashed like the Punjabi2010.
