What colours are used for lungay? can you get pistacchio (yellowish green) ?

They never came in yellow or green as per my knowledge. Only the waziris wear big yellow ones to differinate between other tribes and it shows that they belong to the wazir tribe. Lungee's usually come in brown to light grey and then jet black.

I might be going to Afghanistan this coming summer and I am hoping to pick up a lungee, but they might hard to find in balkh consedering the huge non pashtun population and that fact that it is seen as a more Pashtun thing by Tajiks. But hopefully I have no trouble finding one.

Go to mazar, the streets and bazar near the roza have waskats, lungis, yakhan kamiz, its all there.
