I believe Islam dictates us to respect other religions, incl. the graves of their deads.

How would muslims feel if graves of our deads were desecrated in non-muslim countries?

Islam is lot more tolerant and forgiving than we muslims are these days unfortunately.

Maybe not all Hindu Pashtuns were from India. There could be a small number of remnants leftover from the Hindus before Afghans became Muslims. It is believed Kabul area had Hindu (but not necessarily of Indian origin) rulers when Arabs came to conquer the area. So there must have been some Hindus amongst the population at that time besides Buddhists.

2)lets go to the East now
Our beloved Iran place again for semites and indo-aryans the Persians are people with appearance similar to Hindus because they lived in what we now called Afghanistan for thousants of years (that's why the persians are called as "eastern Aryans") so they had this indo-iranian DNA (R halpogroup)
but now we see that persians have also J halpogroup (middle eastern DNA)
did this fact stopped them from becoming the greatest civillization of the East? no because again civillization doesnt come from DNA but from hard work and the will to become something better than other people

Todays Persians are not exactly same as the original Persians and Pashtuns might be even more different. Todays Hindus are not same as the original Hindus.

The parallel is not comparable; these are the soldiers who trespassed the lands of the natives, it is not merely a graveyard of another religion, but graveyards of imperialism. To represent this as a Christian vs. Muslim issue is deliberately misleading. If these were peaceful settlers in Afghanistan, then this is another story, the fact is, they were not.

                  exactly.

when i first saw the video of libyans destroying the christian graves, i was disgusted. when i learned why they did it and who's graves they were, i felt relieved. imagine, the imperialists had no quams about exporting the riches of the occupied nations to their countries but don't even bother to take their dead back home.

likewise, if muslims to were occupy a nation and kill a million plus civilians for greedy ends and leave, i would expect our graves to be desecrated. i wouldn't like it, because i am a muslim and will always support one of my own over another, but i would find it understandable.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

In fact that's what happened in Serbia to Turkish Graves

                      @ randolf

with one small exception , this time they invited those imperialists , so they can be their servants and sell off their country ,and live as true muslims as a reward ,they had no problem with nato bombarding , and nato didnt spend some billions just out of good will , with out any reward.

on the other hand ghadaffi didnt do such an act but actually really took care of the french and british ...

so those people actually didnt know what they were doing , they just heard its kafirs grave ....

they kicked over thombstones , but in reward for doing so they gave up their independence...

The writer is Iranian and would have based his comments on historical evidence. You could delve into it yourself if you wanted and you would come to the same conclusion as the writer. It is well known that up till about 4500 years ago (or something close to that), the ancient Indo-Iranians spoke the same language or dialects of the same language. There was no Sanskrit and Avestan (etc.) at that time. They were the same. Therefore it is very probable that at that time they (Indo-Iranians) were very similar people in every respect.
Ancient Indo-Iranians means Indic people and Iranic people. It does not mean Indians who are Iranians.

you say this as if the input of dirt poor fighters wearing sandles in libya have any say in NATO military circles to dictate their military actions. meaning, NATO was going to do what it wanted regardless of what these fighters wanted or didn't want. like america was going to bomb afghanistan whether the northern alliance liked it or not.

i am pretty sure these graveyards are not just some random crosses on some piece of land, they are probably gated with inscriptions on them, like in kabul. if these had been just anti christian mindless fanatics, you would think they would just attack a bunch of christians which libya has many of.

there is no such thing as a non-muslim pashtun community. There are non-muslims in Afghanistan and KPK - doesn't make them pashtun or even descendants of pashtuns. the present-day non-muslims are imports (mainly punjabis and sindhis) during the colonial times from modern-day Pakistan who have adopted the pashtun language. No different than the punjabis (hindkowans) in the Peshawar valley.

usually when a non-muslim says travel they really mean invade. No, you're not safe to invade anyone's homeland.
