dude, just stop. u are really getting nowhere with this and i can see that u think ur intellect is far more superior than it really is.

eid is a religious celebration based on a religion that the believer holds more dear than life itself. nowroz is the ****in change in a calender lol

and also, i love ur amazing reasoning that liking red/green lights, bad music, and tree's equates to enjoying watching a man stick his penis in a woman on camera.

    keep on keeping on, champ.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

The problem with that kind of thinking is that "local" is not equivalent to accurate. The logical and unbiased person trusts research and evidence. Ferdowsi is from Tus which is not local even if you claim Abdali conquered Tus, if that's the case Punjab and Delhi would also be local. Gardezi is local but even he deems Naw Roz Persian NOT Afghan.

Same thing because both Persian and Pashto are Iranian languages.

As for pagan culture, attan is also pagan.
            Stop inveting fakes.

''nawy wraz''. Neither nawey nor wraz or roz is Pakhtu. Attan is a dance. It has nothing to do with paganism. Music is also a ''pagan'' custom according to your logic. The Arabs self brought this original bedouine dance to us.

You are an idiot. We were never Pharsi related. We have our own culture, florished in our own country and regions among ourself. I don´t deny that we also had foreign influence but Nauroz (in Pakhtu Akhtar) was never part of our culture. As a Pharsian you should know that. Your hero al-Barani wrote Pakhtuns culture is neither Pharsian nor fully Hindu but a pagan culture, unrelated to other people but similar to the people of Kalash. Only Pharsian Muhammadzai and Barakzaiy traitors with Pharsian blood will celebrate this pagan culture

Hey wannabe Pakhtun Pharsian, shut up.. you are here on a Pakhtun forum, not Pharsian forum. If you are a Pakhtun you wouldn´t celebrate this **** because it is not part of Pakhtuns. In the entire Pakistan there is no porks, but 150 000 foreign porks are killing real Pakhtuns day by day in Afghanistan ... you pork sucking Pharisan. Tough beeing a wannabe Pharsian Pakhtun lol you are not accepted by the Pharsians. Your backward Taliban mentality
                  Ismaili baba
is one cause why Pharsians are hating you. You do not know that Pharsian have a lot of Ismaelis and you insult them. Also Pakhtun Ismaelis are there but noone of these people ever have eaten pork like you wannabe Pakhtuns. Stay away from Pakhtuns and Pakhtuns culture.. stay with your US Pork friends and work with them. Your Ismaeli Pamiri avater show who you are you loser :D

that's fine if you want to celebrate it; but don't whine and cry like Leonine about how Pashtuns are lost their culture; when so many things Pashtuns take as "their culture" aren't really Pashtun to begin with.

To take something from another culture is human, every culture on this planet is enfluenced by other, like in the western countries if there is new year they use fireworks but that originaly come from china, culture is not writen in stone its changes time after time. Culture is like river the water must flow in it, if its not flowing and will stay at the same place it will turn in to a marsh. A marsh can look mystirous and pretty but it will be nothing more than a pool of stinking water.

That's my point .....so tell people like Leonine to stop whining, most of the things he thinks is our Pashtun culture isnt even ours.

It is a common holiday in the northern hemisphere, it means the awakining of nature and the new year!
Has nbothing to do specially with Persians!
We have at the same day a day called Amanor(New year).
Allmost every nation of the northern hemisphere has or had this holiday. Nations stopped ceebrating it when they got away from nature.

We were all once part of the Persian empire, the Persian empire produced a culture of excellence, due to invaders especially the Turks and Arabs, the Persian(Iranic peoples) got divided, and then due to Religion, it between separated between Shia and Sunni.

I support the celebration of Nowruz, and I am sure before Islam came to the Pashtuns, most of our ancestors were celebrating it.

There is nothing wrong with celebrating it, and those who accuse it of being a Pagan celebration, they should look at their own faith before hand.
