I was also emberessed when I saw for the first time such videos on youtube, but first I didn't knew that this videos where from Pakistan I thought it was from Afghanistan later I discovered that it is from Pakistan, now I can see the diffrence which video is from Pakistan and which is from Afghanistan. And the most videos of pashtun songs from pakistan are like that, so I don't understand why are pashtuns from Pakistan feel so ofended.

everytime when i am looking for some nice pashto song on youtube, i always come across these pakistani music videos where women are dancing terrible like monkeys. this is absolute NOT afghan pashton culture. i am really wondering why our pakistani brothers do this and why they are ruining our culture and music. the worst thing is that people believe that is is actually afghan culture. here is an example:

Actually, it's your problem currently very good music is also generated in KPK, Pakistan as far as Pakhtu is concerned.. But it's your own 'small vision' that is catching just this kind of songs ..

And If you go back I guess this side of the Durand have produced much more brilliant Pakhtu Singers like Rafeeq Shinwari, Khyal Muhammad, Gulzar Alam, Zarsanga and my all time favorite Sardar Ali Takkar.. Who had given alot to Pakhtu Music

^ That's the problem wrora, these types of videos make people take Pukhto songs as a comedy. Since Pakhtunkhwa has got double the number of Pukhtoons then it's not a surprise that they got double the number of singers as well, but whenever you type 'Pashtu songs' in Youtube, you will understand why some Pukhtoons are irritated by the 'image' created of the Pukhtoons.

That's what I am saying, you can just clear the matter and explain to people that these women are not Pukhtanas. You didn't need to bring in Kabulian or Farsiwanan into this because we weren't speaking of non-Pukhtoons to begin with. And if Pukhtoons can get divided by silly videos like this, then I am saddened to say that unity was never meant to be for us.

Please don't try to attach these type of videos to Pakistan or Pukhtuns. Discussing such things is of no use but only to create hatred in our hearts on both the sides.
But we should hate those who make it and promote it and we should protect our next generations from such things rather than blaming each other for nothing.
