One of my aunts used to get a lot, and I mean a lot, of proposals mainly from Pakistani Pukhtoons. Despite of our good relationships with Pukhtoons around us, my family's first reaction always used to be 'zemung khpel Afghanan mrhe shewi di che Pakistanian ta warkru'? Even though all those families who brought proposals were great people, they had a very intense love for Afghans and Afghanistan and never made any difference between Pukhtoons on either side. But my family used to live in denial and unfortunately ignorance, but today their thoughts have changed so much that even if a Punjabi comes with a proposal they will either reject it with respect, or either accept it if the girl in our family really wants to go on with it. So I don't think my family will look at it with much negativity now, but yes the non-Pukhtoon Afghans in our family still consider Pakistani Pukhtoons and rest of Pakistan same 'useless' creatures. Thank God, at least in front of me, they have stopped showing their dislike towards (at least) Pukhtoons of Pakistan.

I have seen afghani-pashtun marry parsibans and treat them as like their brothers but we are pakistani pashtun for them.
It is not that different from the east side where they call them ,,kabalai,,not pashtun.
I had freind from jalal abad always say pakistan ,pakistani,,,,
