  • The Afghan Flag Colours and their meaning

As far as i have heard and know,
in this flag the BLACK stands for the time of oppression,Ignorance,
the RED stands for the times of war and bloodshed
the GREEN stands for the time of peace and prosperity.

these colours are also used because Afghan women (especially Kochyan)wear their clothes in these colours.

i gotta say the afghan flag is the coolest looking flag in the world. turkmenistan and saudi arabia are up there too.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

I think the old Libyan flag is better:

There is so much attention to detail on it, nice design.

But yes the Afghan flag does look the best though in my opinion.

The two branches of wheat on Afghanistan flag emblem comes from the time of the legend. During the Aryan Empire, King Yamah and the founder of Afghanistan Ahmad Shah Durani was crowned with it for the first time as a symbol of bravery.

I think Saudi flag designers were really smart they printed quranic verses on it so that nobody would burn it. And I love Afghan flag to but we are steal in the Red and black colors most of the time if you know what I mean.
