actually are you even muslim, not trying to make fun of you its just that evertime when we say any thing islamic, you counter argue by saying its arab its as if you regard islam as an arab relegion that has nothing to do with the res of the wourld

I wish we could post our comments according to the thread. This way we could get a systematic collection of information on a subject like this one that is it necessary to speak pashto for being a Pashtun?
Here we mix personal things, age, boy friend gal friend matters , other gossips etc

For being Pashtun its imperative to be from Pashtun fathers. I mean Pasthun ethnicity or race, geneologoy, genetics, family tree, pedigree , Pashtun tribe .

To feel and to to be known as a Pashtun one should speak and use Pashto and should practise Pashtunwali.

Those who speak Pashto but are ethnically not Pashtuns are not Pashtuns and those who cant speak Pashto but are ethnically Pashtuns , they are Pashtuns and may try to speak, read and write Pashto to be an ideal Pashtun.

i practice pakhtoon walli...both my parents are pakhtoons....both of them speak pashtu.....

i just cant get it into my head....

Pashtuns may marry only with Pashtuns to continue the Pashtun line of the family in a pure form without any risk but if a real love is involved then may marry non Pashtuns with the condition that Pashto and Pashtunwali may not be sacrificed.

Children can be bilingual or polyglots but Pashto as a language and Pashtunwali as a culture must be the hallmark of the family if one or the other partner is Pashtun.

The seed of a Pashtun is born from a Pashtun women and if you mix it with Africans, Angreezan and other people then the seed will diver its head elsewhere.

gora stha di nazaryi sara za tsa mushkil na laram, khu bazi hajila di wai si pahkthana khaza bikhi na si kawalai si ghair pakhtun sara wada waki, aus di khudai banda di ki ghalathi sada.
