Relgion has proven to be a failure in regards to uniting people, and history has proven this, Turks failed, arabs failed, persians failed and even Pashtuns failed at it, Why is it so hard for you to work for the betterment of Pashtuns instead of continously pushing your Salafi garbage into other peoples mouths, You live in Europe for gods sake, do you think you will be allowed such freedoms else where???

But if it was me. I do not really care. I am less cultural and i TRY to be more on religion. And i think we can teach our traditions fine as long as the person is not objecting to it.

Only common grounds we have with different backgrounds is islam. I seen people get along fine when they relay more on islam than culture. There were no culture clashes. They were both fine. And when they had their weddings it was really nice. Different tastes mixed into one.

I just got invited to a wedding of an qandari girl who is marrying an indian. Both muslims of course. The wedding will be popping. bringing afghan and indian cultures together.

Let me share with you something I do know ...

Years back, we knew a woman from Karachi (via Quetta) ... very dark skinned ... there are African Sheedis living in Balochistan who are black and to outsiders it appeared that she might be just that ... (a Balochi of African slave descent)

Turns out that she was a Pashtana ... her father was a Quettawal, her mother Kenyan whom he married when he was working in Africa.

Love, as they say is blind. Sometimes these things are a matter of the heart and have nothing to do with racial purity or ghairat. Da zra sara sa waku?
