That's not really an Islamic perspective, but if that's his opinion then that doesn't make him an kafir either. Islam is greater than that, you won't be dismissed from Islam by having some personal preference. If he states his reasons of why he thinks marriage outside your ethnic is wrong, then we can argue. So far, I only see this as his own opinion and just like you can't force him to think the same way like you, same wise he can't force you to share his opinion. Simple as that.

If I don't wanna give my daughters or sisters etc to non-pashtun then thats because of my culture not racism.

As the old adage goes "diversity is the spice of life", having different cultures in our world is good as it would preserve the very diversity for our future generations. Having said that, Pashtun culture comes as one of the oldest ones. If it is still surviving, it means it has the tendency to preserve itself against the extraneous variables. The likes of myself and Master Khan would try to preseve it. So far one homogenous system is concerned, froma scientist's perspective I hardly doubt it as evolution would never allow that to happen.This is just my one falsifiable conjecture.Lastly, there is nothing wrong in preserving our genes--even if they are Jewish, Iranian, Greek or just Pashtuns. The idea of keeping it to your race, ethnicity, culture is a normal practice--something that you will find even in developed nations!

No culture stats static neither do languages.... They absorb host cultures and languages.... This is a fact....
