Is this Punjabi and Pashtun call for unity?

Please do not take offence to this Thread. One can see very clearly Pashtuns and Punjabis doing Attan together and Pakistani culture is very clear, is this rule of law you want for Pashtuns or this is what you want.

Please express your views, is this culture good for Pashtuns as a whole, as Pakistan is not about Islam but would you accept this culture in replacement of Islam?

Come on man. You can't compare a few dummanay to the whole punjabi community. Punjabis are muslim and majority of them would be as embarassed as us when they see this kind of stuff. Its not just the punjabis who do this kind of stuff. The peshawar film industry is a good example of this. I know the films are made in Lahore and actresses are punjabi but its the pashtun men who are the audiance and who watch them and support them. We should look at our self and improve ourselves rather than always pointing fingers at others. These kind of practices are just as bad in the punjabi community as they are in the pashtun community. The reason why some punjabis are more liberal is because they are more educated and urban and pashtuns are more isolated and tribalistic. Once pashtuns move into cities and are exposed to this freedom they will also be like this.

This is exactly what the truth is. Punjabis are different, but most are staunch Muslims, pray five times a day and hate people who do vulgar things like these.

Such vulgar people are a MINORITY not the MAJORITY.

Exactly, spending all my life to find things like these then generalize them on a whole community of people who are just ordinary people, Sunni Muslims at that, >

Even if they were say scientologists, I wont generalize such hatred on a whole group. That would be sad, misleading and un Islamic. >

Just caught this thread. It would be naive for me to say this kind of thing could never exist. It is more sad however, that this should be hunted out on the internet, posted here and then pinned on to the moderators.

This is not the contribution to a thread on Pashtoon culture I would have wished for.
