  • Modesty and Virtue

Please define your standards of modesty and virtue. How do we maintain these cherished cultural values in this world where values seem to be lost? In the name of modernity and practicality, people will justify anything. This is a problem. What is modernity? Progression or degression?

define your standards of modesty, and then explain the rest in your own words from there.

kakargirl is the best example of modesty and virtue. you should ask her about this and how to cherish cultural values, etc.

What is modernity to you? All too often, I find Muslims talking about modernity.

Modesty exists everywhere but the levels are different.
As a whole our Muslims's and Pukhtuns' modesty level is the highest than any other

                  To PF moderator Mahzala,

My question is different than the one posed. I want to know where people are justifying things for the sake of practicality in the West. For example, in regards to men and women interacting. Where does one draw the line? Most of us live in the West, and in order to protect our identity and culture, don't we need to return to the core values and enforce them to some degree.

the same way every other creature in this world does it. redefine it according to your own will but to be true to yourself. you should have a sense of right and wrong in you. follow that but follow it with all your heart.

                          the opposite of this

There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
