do you take some sort of pleasure in nonsensical arguments ? and if you are taking about repute, note that you have gone from doubting this story to calling this woman an outright barbarian in a little over two posts.

Reading posts isn't your strongpoint obviously.

Only someone unable to read would suggest I was calling her a barbarian, as opposed to the newspaper "of repute" , in your words.

Girls and guys don't talk the story back and forth, she controls her area because she is well known and respect by both males and female, beside i am very sure her sons are also "DONS" of their area. Most importantly they are just local farmers who wants to live their simple lifes. As I mention there are many other Afghan female fighters whom some have lost their lifes in the war against Soviet. But this old simple Lady is not just as simple as her poor old fasioned cloths, her eyes have seen the world of evil, good, blood and water a brave women indeed. We are proud of old Mothers who lived their with Islam, pride and dignity.

Afghan women are really brave. They have been through so much, yet they continue to impress us.
Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

                      -Ferishta, 1560–1620
