Basically when the Jews were proven guilty and were going to be sentenced they asked for the sentencing to be done according to the Jewish Law.

She never expressed any regret about her decision of marrying Prophet Muhammad so who are you to show regrets on her behalf? In fact if anything She saw a dream about marrying Prophet Muhammad (saww) and when she told this dream to her then husband Kinana ibn al-Rabi, he struck her on face out of jelousy as he knew that this dream means that she will marry Prophet Muhammed.

She lived to an old age and enjoyed a very good life. So I don’t know where did you get the idea that She was not happy with the marriage with Prophet Muhammad (saww)?
