THis is the trend going in Pashtuns, if you see any afghans running shop in Peshawar it would be in dari on the other hand locals here have everything in Urdu/english. YOu would rarely find Pashto
That's horrible. It's depressing to see Afghan Pashtuns prefer Dari, and Pakistan Pashtuns prefer Urdu. Am worried that Pashto will be extinct, in the near future.
They have English signs in Kabul, to go with Dari/Pashto.
Thats why I support Pashto music and nasty cinema movies ...LOL
Haha, why does Pashto dramas suck? I mean do they have to cover half the scene with a telephone number and CD store in Peshawer? It turns the viewer off, and to watch Hindi dramas instead.
I am a Persian and that is what matters. I am a Persian who is tired of seeing his people sing pashto anthem. Who is tired of his people who are dominant in the army have Pashto ranks. I am a Persian who is tried of the requirement that Pashto must be fluent before getting government job interview.
Parsi,
Afghans have been protecting the persians since the begining. When the coward Darius was fleeing boy lover alexander, he begged the afghans for protection. Even in modern times since the russians have invaded tajikistan, you cowards asked the afghans for protection. Go free your land from the russians, they are still occupying it. The reason you persians have been easily conquered was because of your flamboyant inferior language and inferior culture.
Afghans are sick and tired of protecting you like womenfolk for thousands of years. Learn pashto, sing the national anthem in pashto, for you cant know true ghyrat unless you learn pashto and then hopefully persians could stop begging the afghans for protection like you have been for thousands of years.
We do not need anyones approval Randolph we are Persians and we have always suceeded and will suceed. none of you have yet to respond to my article. Pashtun nationalism is against Islam isn\'t it? or like Arabs you also make exceptions??
Because frankly it's total hogwash; even the quotes made there are referring to the Ummayads who were overthrown by the Abbasids, who were also Arabs on account of their total disregard to the fairness and equity of the Islaamic way in which they tried to use for their own agenda. This was a problem from early Islamic history dealing against the crimes of Mu'awiyah and the corruptions of the Ummayad regime. But how convenient of you to not mention that part? What appears here is not any sincere concern for Persian culture or heritage but rather a scapegoat to play into imperial divide and rule tactics; everyone learned on the topic knows that Persia only advanced into a replete and enriched society during the Islamic period and this due in large part to the Abbasid mandate for learning; something lacking in the previous Achameanid and Sassanid eras which basically use the populace as lemmings and committed more widespread rapes and decimations than even the Ummayads could even dream of. It's no wonder that it only took a few thousand Muslims to over run the entire Sassanid regime, because the Persians themselves supported it. Persian nationalism, like all other forms of ethnic nationalism; is merely a European crafted diversion. Intellectual dishonesty and orientalist forgery is not going to help.
this is by far the most fun thread in this forum... yay!
janga janga tor sha!... keep fighting... *grabs popcorn*
yum yum.... go one!....
lol, janga janga
It reminds me of this qizilbash song
"waghta janga" which means "its the time for war"
"tie my saddle to my horse,
send a message to call my uncles
its the time for war,
its the time for war
my robes are full of bullets
I have my sword in my hand
my brothers are many
there are thousands, thousands"
...etc.
Reza Shah specifically banned the singing of that song after the qizilbash revolt of 1922.

Islam stopped being an Arab phenomenon with the fall of the Ummayads
The coup de grace came when the Persian buyids conquered Baghdad in 934 and henceforth the caliphs were pawns of Persian and Turkic rulers until the Mongols came and put them out of their misery.
For the majority of its history, the Islamic world has been socially persianate and militarily turkic. The Ottomans, Safavids, Mughals, Timurids, etc. were all manifestations of the turco-persian tradition.
Its actually quite amazing how little role the Arabs have played in Islamic history despite their huge numbers. They would have remained subjects of the Turkish caliph to this day had it not been for the British
It looks like all those years of Sikh-British rule has stunted your intellect
When I say I am from Iran, I am not referring to my ancestors.
I was born and raised in Iran. My parents were born and raised in Iran. My grandparents were born and raised in Iran. In short, I am an ethnic qizilbash from Iran.
I would forget about my religion if that is an obstacle to the well being of my nation
Ps. Please don't bring up sexual orientation ever again. You are world famous for faggotry; there are actual scientific studies which have been conducted on endemic Pashtun faggotry. So shut up and avoid any further embarrassment
