Your Positive Experiences Meeting Muslims who Praise Afghans/Pashtuns

As salaamu aleikoum,

I have travelled half across the world. I've been to many European and Central Asian countries.

And what I have noticed is that Muslims usually have a very positive reaction towards us knowing who we are and where we are from. They consider as a brave nation.

During the Jihad with Soviet Union many Arabs and Muslims of other origin wrote books and articles describing our people.

Aside from that, there are old famous figures from Afghanistan such as Sayid Jalaludin Al Afghani and Wazir Akbar Khan and Mullah Pawinda who all became world famous because of their resistance to British Empire.

And recently as I was reading a book written by a man named Muhammad Iqbal Waziri about the Life and Struggle of Bacha Khan at the cantine of our University Library, a Moroccan guy who studies Islamic Theology approached me and told me he knows Bacha Khan. I was amazed to see how people know us and our culture all across the world. He knew who he was and he knew all about his struggle.

This made me even more excited and proceed reading this great book.

Its sad to know that Bacha Khan and ghandi both supported the khalifat movement but jinnah opposed it, but anyway sangar roara, you missed Mirza Ali khan, he was also a great patriot of Pashtuns and Islam, as he was one of the first to call for Jihad against the British Empire.

You ever hear his name on those Taliban Nasheeds, I have a very nice Nasheed about him.

A few weeks ago, I spoke to a wazir friend of mine, he said he will try his best to get a very rare book written about him from North Waziristan, iam still waiting for it but i will try and get hold of it as soon as possible, i would like if you Sangar roara, scan or copy and paste some of the books onto the forum so we can read and get educated

Mirza Ali Khan was a pashtun hero from Waziristan, who fought against the British, and worked for a Pashtunistan, being a man of deen, he had alot of support from Pashtuns from all over, but however as Pakistan started bribing Tribal Maliks with money, they mostly turn against him and Also Afghanistan betrayed him on the pressure from the Soviet Union, As Mirza Ali Khan would cause problems for the Russians as nobody liked seeing Pashtuns as a independent people.

not only muslims but we are praised by non-muslims. we have been used badly by muslims and nonmuslims similarly, the pakiess are praising us how devoted pashtuns are to islam and how good fighters we are, they butter us up keep our young generation in the dark, use us to fight for them in kashmir, and against india. the same way american have used us against the soviets, by calling us freedom fighters, the true believers, , the british used us as well when king Amanulla Khan was overthrown. the arabs are using us as well to use our land for terrorists training. the non-afghan citizens of afghanistan also praise us by saying how generous and hospitible we are but behind us saying stupid we are that they are able to use us. there is no doubt that afghans are the great in all of the above.
yes its true when an ordinary person praise us with their personla experience with afghan its diffirent. just look at old hindi movies how our immage has been shown. honest brave, loyal. its just a simple example. we should know that the people who live with what do they think about us.
