Looking at the black & white videos, they are in line with Bollywood/Indian videos. Years passed by, Bollywood movies progressed and improved. On the other hand, our film industry became worse and worse. If we compare the Old with the New ones, the old ones are ten times better than the new ones.

What went wrong? I personally can think of two reasons; 1) Funds, support, audience, finance and so on were limited for our industry and that is why it failed to stand on it's feet and improve in those many decades that passed by. 2) This sounds more like a conspiracy theory, but who knows. Few days ago I read an article published by a Pakistani news site where a person from the Pashto film industry claims that RAW (Indian Secret Services) was responsible for the destruction of our industry. Now, obviously most of us do not trust Pakistani sources especially when it deals with RAW/Indians/Afghans. However, there might be a possibility that Indian involvement might have played a role in all this. Think about it, we almost started at the same point. They went upwards and we went downwards. If we had move upwards, we might have been in a position to closely compete with bollywood.

Obviously, the first point is straight forward and there is not much to discuss. I am more interested in discussing the second point.

PS: I hope I am not repeating the same discussion.

We don't, BUT, we might have been able to change the current scenario. Think about it, Hindi (Urdu) wasn't that famous either. It was neither the lingua-franca nor the official language of the region. Farsi was the dominant language of that region. Hindi/Urdu received it's current status because of the bollywood. Now, bollywood movies are watch by Pashtuns, Baluchs, Tajiks, hazaras, Somalis, Sudanis, Arabs and even by Iranians (most of them are dubbed in Persian).

I think israel was involved in destroying pashto industry. Jews want their tenth lost tribe to shake their booties in the films.
