ispand meaning

Hi guys does anyone know what ispand means?

Spand is just a superstitious thing of the evil eye.

What they do, is put a certain thing on a pot-thingie, let it get smokey, let the smoke reach the person who may get nazar (evil eye). Then they say a few phrases.

My father used to say in Dari: Spand bala band, cheshmesh koor, goozesh band LOL

yeah i think in farsi its ispand or spand but in pashto its something like speenalee

I dont like the smell to it lol....its too strong


there are controversial issues that spand is forbidden. So i am not entirely sure. But yeah, its another cultural custom
