Can you please tell me what is "nawey rasmulkhat".

Also, i am really looking forward to you posting some of your compsitions.
hmmmm....Feroza Kaaki! I'll try to post a lesson from the new pashto textbook (composed by me) tomorrow InshaAllah....

Nawey Rasmulkhat...is the new way of writing pashto....it was adopted recently though most of our poets/scholars can't write it but using this rasmulkhat in textbooks will enable the young generation to read and write pashto more decently zaka che daa par hara toga yo mukamal rasmulkhat dey che hees ghaltay na' laree au yo standard ganhaley shee.. All the old textbooks were in old rasmulkhat which was considered as a great difficulty for the readers...for example
in old rasmulkhat one can't differentiat between "وۀ"(used for a singular noun) and "وو" (used for plural) in both cases the later was used aslo , کښې or کې was written as کښے there were some other errors too....so these mistakes have been removed from the new developed Textbooks ....

so does that mean that you have removed native pashto letters such as the ''pakhto [kkhi], [ttssi] and so on or am i wrong

No, marha....the mistake have been removed like in old pashto we would write:
1:يو لېونے په لاره کښے ناست وو
2:دوه لېوني په لاره کښے ناست وو
it may be noted that "وو" (sounds woo) have been used both for a singular noun (lewanay) and plural (lewanee) so this mistake was removed by using "وۀ" for singular noun and "وو" for plural.
also in old written pashto we would write "رنړا" (light) and "کونړ" (deaf) but now one was unable to differentiate between "کونړ" (afghan province) and "کونړ" (deaf) so this problem was solved by introducing the alphabet "ڼ"(noonh) so for afghan province kunar we will write "کونړ" and for deaf it is "کوڼ" and the correct written from of light ranha is رڼا not رنړا.........oss poey shwey gulapa?

            Thank you so much.

The alphabet Noonh always existed in Pashto... it has been used by many many old pashto poets and writers. it is not a new alphabet at alll!... the word attanh,
            اتڼ
is written and has always been written with alif, tay, and noonh. this is not new rasmulkhat.

I wonder where and who used to write rannha and konhh like this کونړ رنړا

we have always read it in books as رڼا and کوڼ

second: you can not use "wa" for singular unless you are referring to a female. u can not say "yaw halak alta nast wa" ... this makes ur sentence wrong because u are refering to a boy with feminine "wa" ... the right form is "wo" and for pluar

if u want to find an alternative way to distinguish between singular "wo" and plural "woo" u have to find another way. u can't just use "wa"...

please shed some light on why u decided to use "wa"...

no mald kawi ma wali lol

              thanks for clarifying that

btw that kunar will still confuse since there is nothing there to signify the ''a/ah'' sound

yaw laiwanai halek alta wallar "wa"... makes the sentence wrong because u are writing "wa" with a boy.

the right way of using wa is

yawa laiwanei injili alta wallara "wa"!
yaw laiwanai halek alta wallar wo!

the backbone of pashto is "muzakar muanas" isn't it?

Derra manana da de perzowane Yousafzai Pakhtun... Staso tolo da Ombarak she!

Name change, and now this... these are incredible times. I am happy for my own village and district, my people are Pukhtoons but no one knows how to read or write their mother tongue, the tongue of their forefathers. Day in and out is a constant struggle to maintain our identity. So many have been diluted to the point that the very word "Pukhto" annoys them. These are not your Punjaabis, or Hindkowals, but your modern posh Pukhtoons. I hope this will turn the tides.

At last, some rays of hope in these dark hours.

Hmmm.....our old textbooks contains the same errors may be in Afghanistan this rasmulkhat prevailed earlier than pakhtunkhwa......i think i came to know about this "Noonh" in 1999. As our curricula was not revised we still used to read the textbooks with old rasmulkhat so this problem has been solved......most of the famous poetry books of our poets like Rehmat Shah' sayil 's "Da veer pa cham ke waar da naghmo dey" and "Da ghairat chagha" of ajmal baba (as the two books are available on net, you can read them) are in old rasmulkhat and contain the same mistakes..پاڼې was written as پانړې , and رڼا as رنړا.......

Feroza guley! ta' oss humm zama pa khabara sahi poey na' shwey......it is not "wa" it sounds like "Wo" the difference between these two words is "ۀ" .......do you know how will you differentiate between "zrha' (heart) and "zarha" (old).....obviously we write the first one as "زړۀ" and the later as "زړه" so "ۀ" is the difference.......likewise "وه" sounds (wa) is used for female as us said for e.g yawa lewanai wa (يوه لېونۍ وه) and "وۀ" (containing "ه" with small hamza on it) sounds "wo" which we use for a singular male....while "وو" is used for plural noun........Hope it is clear to you now......
In my posts when i writes pashto i often writes "zrha'(heart), na'(not), and sa'(what) etc" so that one can destignuish these words from "zrha (old), na (No) and sa (breath) ........That's how it works......recently when my Baba returned from kabul He was gifted with a lot of pashto books written by afghan writers i read them all especially the pashto novels.....and i came to know that afghanistan's pashto also have some mistakes which needs to be removed....i also memorized some words and intend to make a thread so that you people will write the meaning of these words as i haven't heard them before.....

^salam brother... i haven't forgotten to respond to this
I am asking Angaar to post some series of videos explaining some pronounciation pertaining to Pashto Language. I have explained the message and he will be my messanger

I see some problem in the above pronounciation... once that is corrected many many problems will be solved when writing a pashto.

                            Please stay tuned

My mum told me that they use to learn pashto in Schools in old times...don't know why they stop it, but good to see it as a important subject in Pakhtunkhwa , what is Pakhtunkhwa without pashto?
