Thanks I think we know Naim popal is popali/popalzai. I have not argued about his tribal root which is why I mentioned him as well as Sarban being a Kandahari and Sarbani yet once a while these Ismailis assume he was Turkic or some of their own Tajikistani people, the fact that he doesn't turkic and nor he only spoke Dari, but Pashtu as well.
Anyways Shayesta I know what I am talking about. A tribe of being Popalzai does not automatically makes your PAshtu speaker, you could be Tamil speaker for Gods sake who knows maybe these Popalzai have lived in Sir Linka. Well interestingly but I was encountered with an Indonesian Alikozai. Being Alokozai makes him Afghan, as he proundly announced his identity, but having to live 120 years in Indonesia and speaking Indonesian language no-way he would be considered "Pashtun" besides he knew little about his Alikozai forefather's mother tongue, because they took off from India. Since we know 90% of Alikozai are Pashtu speakers we would assume his family 120 years ago could of been classifed as ethnic "Pashtun".
Happy Ramadan everyone. ‫نشيد (زين الشهور) كااااملة || Zain Ramadan Nasheed-Full Version‬‎ - YouTube

many of our famous singers dont even mention their birth places, if he mentioned kandahar it means he is a pashtun and consider himself one look at at farhad darya, he is a pashtun as well but he never claimed it, in interview if he asked about where he is from? his answer is alwys the same that he is from all over afghanistan.
