I have seen lots of variations when it comes to terms of endearment and kinship. Since most of my family doesn't speak Pashto anymore, here are what I use (Urdu language):
How would you call an elder sister? (I have no sisters myself but in my culture, it would be aapa / aapa jaan, derived from Uzbek - Muslims of our region very rarely use "didi" unless you're Bengali)
Elder brother, which I have, is my bhaiya.
More formally, bhai jaan. Aaka / Aaka jaan, also Uzbek, is also used in higher echelons of the Qasbati "Ashraaf".
Uncles: Amu, Mamu, Kaka, Chacha, Mausa, Khalu etc.
Aunt: Mausi, Phuppi, Khala, Chachi etc.
Grandparents: Daada, Daadi, Aaja, Aaji, Naana, Naani, Aghaji etc.
Cousin: Chachera Bhai, mamera Bhai etc. but called just by name if same age or younger
Would be interesting to know what the Pashto equiavalents are.
