what do pashtuns need culture or language for?? proper muslims have no interest in worldly matters. language and culture are for people who intend on lasting in earth longer than a decade.

Pashtuns don't need Pashto. They rather bark Urdu and Farsi.
Don't quote me or speak to me if you hate Afghanistan, you be ignored.

People with identity crisis will be ignored as well.

Pashtun nationalists in Pakhtunkhwa have not achieved that much and have been widely criticized by Pashtuns for that. I can really only think of 3 achievements.

            1. Having a party which operates through out Pakhtunkhwa, though it's heartland is the Pekhawar valley including Charsadda, Mardan etc, and activities that help to sustain Pashtun consciousness and identity.

            2. Preventing Kalabagh dam.

            3. Renaming of the province from NWFP (Name Wanted for Province) to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. However what use is the renaming if people don't speak Pashto?

It's like being called Arabia but no one speaks Arabic and spoke Persian instead.

The Sindhis long ago made Sindhi an official language in Sindh decades back.

However the Pashtun nationalists can only be blamed to an extent as they are essentially operating with a gun to their head as the army/ISI will kill leaders, members if they do things they don't approve of.

With this increased usage of Urdu, the distance between Pakistani Pashtuns and Afghan Pashtuns will only continue. There will be the production of more "Pathans" (house negro "Pashtuns) and Pakistan-walas e.g. like Da Lahore Mazdigar and Shebaz Khan.

The PTI that rules Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a Pakistani-centric Pakistani nationalist party which has connections with the military and ruling elite.

They want the assimilation of Pashtuns and not integration.

Integration: Retention of distinct identity but harmonious interaction with other nationalities/ethnicities.

Assimilation: Loss of distinct identity and becoming like the other ethnic groups.

In other words Imran Khan and his goons want Pashtuns to become "Pathans" e.g. like the Niazis of Mianwali, who boast of their supposed Pashtun lineage but who cannot speak Pashto, or even like some of the Bollywood Khans.

Two Pathans, Shah Rukh Khan and Irfan Pathan.

A "Pathan" who cannot speak Pashto will boast about his Pashtun identity but will view Afghans as foreigners and will be the sort of guy that will go on Youtube threatening to nuke Afghanistan.

The PTI is definitely a Pakistani (Punjabi) chauvinist party and that extends to even trying to vocally insult Bangladesh and support pro-Pakistan war criminals in that country because under the Pakistan-wala ideology, Bangladesh is "east Pakistan" and Bangladeshis "must" love Pakistan.

Sharukh is awan like Dilip Kumar. Pakhtuns have subdued docile people like awans, parachas and other such cowards etc in KPK to the point that they are ashamed of being who they are.

Preventing Kalabagh dam is not achievement but stupidity, in few decades consensus will be reached when things get really really bad.

If you take out burkha then dress for women is similar across Pakistan villages. You are describing western outlook in cities. This western outlook will become more and more common in coming decades. It's inevitable.

No doubt TPI are horrible people. But ANP never fails to surpass the worst Paki political parties in deception and fraud.
