Pashtuns must go for pure Pashto greetings not Arabic, Persian or Urdu ones.

In areas of Kunar Dir Jalalabad,Peshawar etc the illiterate Pashtuns say the following
Xa charey for Hi, loy shey, khair de wi, as response
Pakhair raghley or starhey mashey for welcome, response is khudey de ubakha, loy shey, abad osey etc
Da khudey pa aman or pa makha de xa for Bye and the same words as response
Akhtar de umbarak sha for Eid mubarak.response, sta de umbarak shi

When people greet me with Asalam alaikum. I some times say, sorry Arabic is not My language. If we speak English then English greetings, if Arabic then Arabic ones, if Pashto, then We must go for Pashto greetings.

        Manana!
Have you noticed Allah hafiz superseding khuda hafiz.
How is eid mubarak or Juma mubaraksha responded?

Yes I have noted it. Allah Hafiz is the influence of Literalist salafism or wahabbism as they consider khuda for God as innovation and thus a sin. But these two are not Pashto greetings.
Juma is called adeena in Pashto but I have never seen any greetings for friday.
Eid mubarak and its response as khair mubarak is a punjabi tradition. Some Pashtuns like Khattaks of Karak use it but they must use pure Pashto eid greetings as I mentioned above.

I notice it's pakistani mullas promoting Allah khafiz. Interestingly I was at the consulate getting my new e-passport and the official sent me off with Allah hafiz. I guess years in Pk.
Again it's not an issue but shows how language is changing.
I maintain the salam with walaikam salam but avoid other loan words acquired during times of refuge. Stare mashe is fine, but who uses adeena or ziarat for Friday and Thursday? Juma pinza wraz or the farsi panjshambeh is heard more often here in suhaili afghanistan. I think it's khateez areas influenced by "kaldari" loan words.

If I were in a mean spirit, I would say you opened this thread with a fake impression of wanting to know other people's opinion when in reality, all you wanted was talk about something that you had an opinion about.
I don't understand why you couldn't go straight on about it rather than faking an interest in other people..
Some be sayin, them folks be hav'n no interest in none of what nobody else says. All they be wantin is for the other one to finish talkin so they can spit out their own words and wait for the next opportunity.

We must avoid all loan words if We have our own, including salam. Let Arabs use it.We are not Arabs.

Your people say "Radhi Radhi" and "Jai si Krishna" so i wouldn't be the one to criticize.

Oh please woman get out of my face. Don't utter whatever drivel that tortures your head.

I am not inviting my self to dastgiri khapalwani so there is no need for you to question my ingenuousness.

Despite your vitriol I credit you with intellect and gift of the gab, however your bitter and twisted reception is not necessary and really very inelegant - lacks class.

Aww, look at him.. 150 years old and still thinking it's cute to sho me away by using the same old trick as his other decade holders. Trying to shame me in to leaving him alone rather than pointing out the extent of his narcissism.. Suggesting that pointing out the fault of someone who happens to be of the opposite gender is same as expressing interest in extending "khpalwanay" with him. Is that how it works where you come from?? When you want to befriend someone, you remind them of the fact that they are a conceited jerk and surprise, a magical relationship has formed???

Hey everyone, guess what. Other people are sooooo lame. They use borrowed words from other cultures and pakistanis by saying things like "salam" and "Allah hafiz" or "panjshanba". Not me though, I am perfect! No, really! I am perfect. I say pinzashanba, unlike everybody else who uses kaldari words. Peeeeeeerfect. Yeah, pure perfection.

If I were even to associate myself with the word "class" I wouldn't be here, in the company of you rotten and self deluded bigots. But that's okay. I don't need pretentious prestige in life to be satisfied. I would rather have the freedom to tell them as I see them, instead. In order to get rid of filth from a society, one needs to be well acquainted with the lowest form of existence.
I will pay the price with pleasure.

Like a lurker you are back for more. You remind me of that description "pitbul with lipstick".
Really don't poke your nose in things you don't like unless you want to be sullied with my degeneracy. Unless like a pathetic ho you like to suffer abuse (ironically you proclaim your right to exercise your freedom).
Indeed I am old, old enough not to suffer ho's like you whilst young enough to keep you serviced till you dry. Now go and park your your booty in some other ******s lap. This old blue eyed fox got no time for your moaning.

After I finished laughing, I was going to say, damn, I only called you conceited. No need to lose your **** over it. But then I realized this is your reality. So stop pretending otherwise.

Speaking of dogs, this reminds me of the summer of 2013. There I was, parked in front of my friend's house and waiting for her to come out when I hear this horrible noise outside. I turn down the music and it sounds like a puppy is screaming it's lungs off in an attempt to bark me off the parking lot. So I stick my head out and what do I see?? There is this chiwawa, the size of a two week old cat, jumping 6 feet in the sky and smacking himself against the sidewalk. Had his owner not come in time to rescue him, I was sure it was going to end up with collapsed lungs by the side of the road.

Moral of the story, you are an idiot and your post up there is the proof for it. Now, if you will excuse me, I have me to drive across the twon in a hurry and am not in the mood to drive in to a lake just because some uncle lost his **** and switched in to his alter ego and thinks he is a fox now.
