Roman Pashto is the future. Arabic one is past and some present. Electronic media already uses Roman Pashto.

If you are a little familiar with Pashto you may know that dialects exist mainly in spoken Pashto not necessarily in written Pashto. For example kha and sha are written the same way xa but pronounced differently. So no question of which dialects.

This won't be effective and a complete waste of time.

#1.) Illiteracy among Pashtuns is high, won't make a difference
#2.) Romanizing Pashto will be insurmountable There are different romanizations that standardizing it would be egregious. Roman letters have no comparable phonetic system to Pashto.
#3.) The weight of the vast body of Pashto literature already in Nakhsh will become nearly impossible to rewrite as there is no standard romanization.

Focus your efforts on making people literate, feeding Pashtuns and medical care and throw this useless nonsense in the trash

You're the last person on here to be claiming other people are not Pashtun considering you endorse Western social values

Yes illiteracy is a big issue. More than 60% Pashtuns(40 millions) even cannot write their name. Our efforts must be directed towards this pitfall. However Pashto can be romanized as many languages like Turkish , Malay etc have been romanized recently with success. Accents for phonemes, morphemes, letters, syllables etc can be invented.

Pashto literature in Arabic script may be converted on use and user bases. If one needs reference and citation of literature , can romanize it first and then it will be acceptable. If a piece of literature is not needed, it remain in archaic form and may be useful only for researchers etc.
The issue is that romanization of Pashto is now unavoidable. It is already taking place in electronic media, mobile messages, discussion forums. If you like it or not future of Pashto is Roman not Arabic.

Turkish was romanized by force and by Government directed policies; they literally BURNED Nakhsh scripted books so people had NO other choice. But even now Erdogan is trying to reverse this and undo the damage Attaturk did to Turkey. You won't be able to do with Pashtuns what attaturk did to Turkey

Pashtuns are aggressive and a counter current can easily be motivated if people start seeing that this attempt at trying change Pashto script is really an agenda to remove the influence of their religious convictions in the public life. since Nakhsh script is associated with an Islamic Idenity.

In fact By doing so might actually be used by Taliban to regain public support by showing what happened when Turks romantized their script and then using that as a scare tactic to lure more Pashtuns into radicalization.. Romanization of Pashto on the internet when barely 1% of Pashtuns has access to internet is not "unavoidable". It is being avoided already.

Focus more on stuff Pashtuns actually need.

if you write pashto in arabic letter every pashto speaker read it in his own dialect, he knows how to write in "standard" pashto also he speaks his dialect pashto, but people if they are not good in pashto start to write with arabic letters in their own dialect, which makes difficult for others to read it

nope! so called letter "xa" exists only in pashto (maybe in urdu too), if you read this letter you always choose one of the two dialects.

there must be a standard written pashto in roman letters, but how it will be standardisized?

I looked at that website .....certain Romanizations I don't even understand they don't sound like anything I've learned in Pashto.

He's talking nonsense; there are words they're using I don't even recognize; when I try to sound them out, they don't resemble anything Pashto.

You are exaggerating the issue of dialects. Pashto has only two dialects, hard and soft with mainly two sounds difference,kh/sh and g/j.
If we could standardize Arabic based Pashto why not Romanized Pashto.
