We did experiment with that but trust me here we do not have Pashto good teachers above all most of the nationalist Pashtuns are sending their kids to English medium schools so why we poor Pashtuns should push our kids into backwardness further.

English is the way out to progress. Mother tongue here is creating hindrance.

the problem is you were experimenting with this, you don't need PHD in pashto to tell kid how to write and read in pashto, madrassah student from kandahar know it very well, it will be imminence pleasure for them if you give them job.
will you please elaborate how teaching in mother language is backwardness? will you please account for how urdu is better than pashto ?seems like you are ashamed of pashto language, isn't it? are you ashmed too of being pashtun?

I do agree with the statement that the nationalists are sending their children to English medium even outside Pakistan while the poor are enforced to study whatever the nationalist leader wants.

The perception of good Pashto teacher is wrong. If there is no Pashto subject in your syllabus from Grade 0-10 why you are blaming teachers. There are more than hundred graduates of Pashto from Pashto Academy every years but they are looking for jobs.

Does sending their children to English medium schools make them better than the ones studying in Pashto medium? Whatever the nationalists do with their kids is their personal thing but its the basic right of our kids to be taught in mother tongue and whoever is working for it, whether nationalist, or internationalist, we should appreciate them. Its totally wrong that mother tongue is a cause of backwardness. Many of world developed countries like China, Germany, France are giving importance to mother tongue and they aren't backward.
