  • Profanity in Pashto?

    Hi there!

I am searching a good/broad resources for Pashto Language Profanity.
No, I'm not just learning "swear" words, but as an integral part of each language, I think it's inappropriate not to teach them. I do believe that if you are enough smart and adult to study a language like Afghan, than why the heck wouldn't you be able to bear in mind some profanity to laugh with friends and to show them you're truly "in".

Any sources? A thread? If not, can you use this one to start one?

    Thanks in advance

Pashtuns by nature are very natural and frank kind of people. Only mixing of Mullah in Pashtun society has made them religious bigots otherwise Pashtuns are jolly fellows. You can find a lot of swear words and harmless profanity in Pashtun daily conversations and literature.

    please read here

I will continue adding more here

valujira, i don't know where these pashtuns come from but if you use any of those phrases to prove your friendship to a proper pashtun, i can guaranty that you will lose majority of your reproductive system instantly.
talking about having intercourse with the mother or sister of Badlun, jankhan or happy khan may prove the validity of a friendship to them but it most definitely does no such thing to any other proper pashtun or human being out there.

and it's very disappointing that the four of you idiots have chosen for the base of a friendship in the pashtun culture to be represented by the exchange of such words amongst individuals. where is your ghairat??
learn to be proper human beings before going out there to preach others on religion (under whatever banner it may be) or pashtunwali.
          you people are disgusting.

If you say it to a male I bet he's gonna kick your nuts. So maybe it's also a profanity, or if you say it to a fat woman she'll get hurt, I can assure you that.
