    Please differentiate Pashtun as people and Pashto, their language.

    These are lines from a Pashto song

    1) grana pa ma grana / grani pa ma grani

    grana =dear, pa=on,ma=me,
    graney=dear(feminine)
    O my dear(male), o my dear(female), These are love words. Lovers are talking to each other

    2) raula,=bring, actual pronunciation is like rawrha

    3) au raula ma-ta gul gul gul wo ma-ta raula gul gul gul

    au=and , yes, yeah(a sound to continue the conversation)
    ma ta =for me
    gul=flower
    wo=yes, continuation sign

    Yeah yeah bring(for) me a flower(present me) and repetition

    The whole stanza means

    o my dear bring a flower for me(as a token of your love)

          For any language you may start like a KG or primary student. Dictionary comes at a later stage. You may join the Basic Pashto course here in Pashto language section.

          rasha means come! It is the imperative(order or request) form of the infinitive Ratlal(to come). Another imperative form is raza which shows continuity in action. For example

          saba rasha= come tomorrow
          halaka raza che zoo=guy come on to leave(to go)

          raza can be better translated with Come on! while rasha is just Come!
          dalta rasha=come here
          wro wro raza=come on slowly slowly
          rasha dodai ukhwra=come to eat(meal)
          raza der ma isarega=come on do not stay much
          raza che warzo pe =come on, let us atatck/have it
          rasha kanai kher ba da na wi=come otherwise it will not be good for you
