I mean argots in terms of secret languages like Zargari or Sasi... In late 70 in Afghanistan identified about 10 secret languags - some of them were very old yet still in use.

        Argots in Afghanistan - Adurgari

        Other names: Sheikh Mohammadi

Users: different groups that define themsleves as Sheikh Mohammadi; Afghan officials used to call those groups Lavaani. Some Afghans describe them as Qawaal or Jat.

Location: This argot has been identified in vicinity of Jalalabad and in the southern province of Laghman. Sheikh Mohammandi groups live mailny in eastern Afghanistan.

Characteristic: Adurgari probably means 'occupation of itinerant vendor'. Local varieties of Persian/ Dari languages form the basics of this argot. E. Orywall says that children up to 6 -7 years speak only Dari/Parsian and then they are taught Adurgari, which is used to hide importan information from strangers.
