Let me mention some difference of the Zadrans,
the use instead "a" or "o" sound mostly "e",they say
"kéhr" = house/home koor
"mér" = mother where as others say moor
"khér" = sister or khor
Zazai and Mangal both have many close links they are closer to eachother than Zadran to them,they both use such words like :
weksa = Look (which is for "wagorra" in common pakhto)
Zadrans use : wegerra = LookHigh achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation.

I have a question about this: isnt the above spoken in khost dialect. Do the zadran that live in the mountains also speak in this dialect. where they switch the "eh" for the "o" sound.Originally posted by Afghanistan2010 View PostLet me mention some difference of the Zadrans,

I was going to ask this as well.Originally posted by حکیم خان اورګونی View PostResistance wrora, how do you say "egg" in your dialect?
Thanks.
Same here.Originally posted by R3SISTANC3 View PostYeah, thats another one, oya = egg and oye = eggs.
When I was small learning to read Qu'ran in the Jumat, the mullah would stand me up in front of everyone and ask me how to say 'egg' in Pakhto. Then he would laugh because I said oya.
What about the term 'haghoi'?
The first time I came across it was on PF. Wardags (as far as I am aware) don't usually use that word.
I also strongly agree about the preservation of dialects. It is a part of our identity - just as we preserve Pakhto from influences from other languages to keep our identity, we should do the same with our own dialects.---
To advise others is an easy matter, the difficulty is accepting advice -- since it is bitter for those who follow their
own inclinations and desires.
